I already have a sympathy card ready for the Stamp Along but since I have been using so many of these lately, I thought I would add another choice.
The Thoughts and Prayers set is a favorite of mine for sympathy and thinking of you cards.
These three are basically the same. They all start with the delicate details lace tape (p171) placed on the card and sponged. You can achieve different looks by the amount of sponging you do.
After you sponge, just wipe across with a tissue to remove the extra ink on the tape, and remove the tape to be used for another card. Next, I stamped the flower branch and the sentiment with Calypso Coral ink on the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. I added some washi tape on two of them...one to hide the stems on the flower branch and the other just because.
Which, of the three, do you like the best?
Let me know and get in the drawing for a prize on Monday morning!
Read the details on the previous post.
You could do this same card in almost any of the lighter colors.
I have done a similar one in Smokey Slate.
Loved all three of your sympathy cards, the W. Tape did add a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteI think I like the one without the washi tape best. Unfortunately it seems like we are using a lot of sympathy cards of late.
ReplyDeleteI love all three of these especially the one on the left
ReplyDeleteThe one in the centre, with the washi on the angle. I do also like the one on the right, but if I had to pick, it'd be the centre.
ReplyDeleteI like the one on the left/
ReplyDeleteSorry, I can't pick a favorite, I like all 3 of them.
ReplyDeleteLoved all three. Favorite was without the tape
ReplyDeleteI like the one without the washi tape best. Simple and elegant.
ReplyDeleteI liked all three but the Washi tape adds a nice touch of color
ReplyDeleteI like all of them, but the one on the left is my favorite!!! very pretty
