Ice cream cone/Sheltering Tree

This was one of the cards at the recent Sheltering Tree class.
I told the gals there that I would put the cuts for the cone on here.

Here they are. Make lots of ice cream cones!
Thank you for coming to the class.

Masks or stencils?

Yes, I know it isn't Halloween and that is the time of the year we think of masks.
Actually, i think of these as stencils.
They are on page 205 in the Annual SU! Catalog this year.
They make awesome backgrounds by just laying them on the card stock and sponging over them but, for this card, after making a set of Tangelo Twist dots, I moved the mask over and made another set of them using Hello Honey. One more move and using the Lost Lagoon ink I got this very bright background. Then I used the On Film thinlit on the layer piece and put that cute? cat in the frame.
The inside of the card has the saying that goes with the cat.

If you were at the April Stamp Along, you might have made this one.
What do you think of the background? I hope that you will give it a try.

Sheltering Tree

The butterfly thinlits and bundle are able to be ordered again.
SU! is giving a discount on the thinlits until the 30th of April if you are interested in them.
The bundle already has a discount but you can choose either of the papers that were offered during SAB as a gift for your patience!
If you order them, please, go to my site, and use the hostess code: PZ2TJMXT
That code will be good until the May Stamp Along. Thank you!

These are the seven cards that we will be making in the class on Wednesday at Schroeder's.
The class is at 12:30 and is $10.
Quite a bargin!
If you are interested, I have room for two more.
Things to bring...if you have them.

Papillion Potpouri just one large and one small butterfly
Sassy Salutations just Thinking of You

***These are the in colors that will be retired this year. If you are interested in purchasing any of the products in these colors (and Baked Brown Sugar) you may want to do that before the 21st when the retired list is released as they go VERY quickly and are only available as supplies last. At least, that is the way it was last year.

Painted Blooms DSP

This Painted Blooms DSP is beautiful and makes making a bunch of cards in a hurry an easy chore.
Is making cards ever a chore? Maybe, if you have to get a bunch in the mail and time is running short. DSP to the rescue!
Thanks Patty Bennett for the inspiration to do this class on the Painted Blooms DSP.

These are cards from a class that I did awhile ago.
Any time that you have an idea for a class that you would like me to do, let me know and we can see if anyone else is interested in doing it.
I am thinking about doing one with fancy folds. Would you be interested in that?

Feminine cards

Yesterday I posted some of the masculine cards that will be at the Stamp Along on Monday so today I am posting some of the ones that can be used as Mother's Day cards.

I also have some news on the Butterfly thinlits.
This is what SU! posted today.
I think it is pretty nice that they are still going to give a SAB item for the order of the Butterfly Bundle,  don't  you?

April 10, 2015
Like you, we sincerely hoped that the Butterflies Thinlits Dies would arrive in time for Sale-A-Bration, and when that didn't happen, again like you, we hoped they would be here in time for our Free Shipping promotion. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case.
Originally they were scheduled to arrive by April 8; we then received notification from our supplier that although the ship had reached the west coast port, the container containing the Thinlits was still on the ship. We have since received verification from a third party that the vessel is still in the port--and though it docked on Friday, April 3, the container with the Thinlits has yet to be pulled.
Because the container has yet to be discharged from the vessel, the soonest the Butterflies Thinlits will arrive in our warehouse is the beginning of the week of April 13; our best estimate for orderability, based on this information, is April 15.
We realize you and your customers may be disappointed you were not able to purchase the Thinlits in time to receive Sale-A-Bration rewards--especially in the discounted bundles. Therefore, from the day Butterflies Thinlits are again available through April 30, we are bringing you two special offers:
  1. Get the Butterflies Thinlits at a 15 percent discount--just $21.20!
  2. Buy any of the Butterflies Thinlits Bundles at the already-discounted price and choose one of three FREE Sale-A-Bration items (only available while supplies last)!

Masculine cards

Father's Day is coming!
Yes, I know, Mother's Day is first.
I have some cards that can be used for that also.
These can be used for masculine birthday or for Father's Day.
Love that little bow tie punch! There are so many ways to use it. I will have a sample of several different looks for that bow on display at the Stamp Along on Monday.

Hope you can come and stock up on masculine cards this time.

Stamp Along cards

Happy Easter Season
Where has the time gone?
I apologize for taking a break from my blog.
So much has happened since my last post.
I hope to be back more often.

The big news is that Stampin' Up! has free shipping this week and I didn't want you to miss out on that!
You can click on the crab and order on my site, have it shipped right to you and get free shipping if you place the order before Friday the 10th. Please use the hostess code so it links into my party.
Hostess code: U2THNNXG
You can use this code until the 13th but the free shipping is only until the 10th!

These two wedding cards will be available at the Stamp Along next Monday, the 13th.
Hope you can come.

This one uses the darn cute set From the Herd.
It is awesome to use for a card from a group.
The card stock that I used is the free item from SAB so it isn't available anymore but if you have it, you will want to try this technique!

Happy stamping!
