More selections for Monday

I am really running behind this month!
Working on Christmas cards, doing some swaps, still recovering from the last round of swaps, preparing a display for the demo get together in January, and taking some fun classes just for me.
Are your Christmas cards all finished?
Have you sent them out already?
I usually mail mine the week before Christmas.
I like them to arrive just in time....not early.
Anyway, I have a few cards on the table that are partly finished but not ready to have their picture taken yet. Those will be the surprise ones this time.

This one is a sneak peek from the new catalog. The blossoms are so pretty and the saying is perfect for a wedding card. I hope you like it. I paired it with the oval frame from the annual catalog.

So glad that this set with the critters is not going to retire.
I will have the list of sets that are retiring and the ones that are carrying over at the Library for you.
You can also find them on the SU! site.
These next two are returning from last time since many of you stayed away because of the weather last month. I certainly don't blame anyone for that!

Thank you for stopping by to check out the cards.
I hope you can stop by the Library on Monday to make some cards. I will have my copy of the new catalog there for you to check out. I will also have a copy of it for you (they are ordered) and will include it with your order, if you have one, or you can pick it up (call me) at the January Stamp Along.
If you need some product and can't make it to the Stamp Along, please use the hostess code.

Thank you so much!

Merry Christmas!

Next Monday is the Stamp Along!
Do you still need some Christmas cards?
There will be several choices that will work for your Christmas Greetings.
Many of them will also work for a Winter note card.
So, if you have your Christmas cards all finished, you can still use these cards.

This one use the Mercury Glass Designer Acetate which is just beautiful!
It will be retiring with this catalog so. if you like it, you may want to order it now.
The list of retiring products from the Holiday catalog is available on the SU! site.
Check it out.

There will be other than Christmas cards available also.
This Anniversary one will be there and I will have a wedding card that uses a sneak peak of a set in the new mini catalog  that will start in January.
I will bring my copy so you can peak at the new offerings.
I have ordered the catalogs but they will arrive after the Stamp Along so I will put one in your order for you.

This card is so much prettier in person. The DSP is so soft and subtle.
The flowers are punched of velum.

These are a few of the cards that will be there for you to make on Monday.
I hope to see you there!
Which of these will you choose?

If you would like to order and not able to get to the Stamp Along,
please use the Hostess code.

Happy Thanksgiving!

It seems like Happy Winter would be a better thing to say with the weather that we have been having.
It seems more like January weather.
It does make it easy to work with the cute snowman set though.
I have two ready to go to the Library on Monday.
There may be another one......

Both of them are made using the punch that goes with the set.

This one is a take off of one of the swaps I have been making to take to the SU! event in Michigan next week.

This one is also one of the swaps. This Magnolia DSP is so pretty and easy to work with that I have been using it quite a bit.

This one is from the October Paper Pumpkin kit. It is very limited so if you want me to save one for you, let me know before Monday so I can put one away for you.

The Snow Front set is fun to play with as you can build your own scenes.
I did a small one for this card and layered it on the DSP.

The Snow Front was paired with Nature's Beauty for this one.
It is a note card that could be used for almost any occasion.

This one is a shaker card. I haven't done one for a long time and thought this tree was calling out for some flakes shaking around it.
Both of these have some heat embossing.

Well, this is a sampling of the cards that will be available for Monday.
I have more finished but not ready to put on here.
Not sure if I will have time to blog again to get it out there before Monday so you will have to come and see what else I have to offer you.
Do let me know which one of these is your favorite.
I know that there will be a birthday and anniversary one for sure.
Have a great weekend!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! Part 2

I showed you the Halloween cards yesterday.
Today I just have a few more of the card choices to share with you.

This one is quick and easy and uses a die cut to make the stunning image.
Add a greeting for the occasion and you are all set.

Another Peacock choice. This one looks difficult to do but isn't.
The coloring is done with Blends and isn't as fussy as it looks.

I am having a lot of trouble loading the pictures today!
The words are doing some bouncing around also.
I have a few more cards on the table that will be ready for Monday.
Come and be surprised with the other ones.

Hope to see you at the Library on Monday!

Happy Halloween!

Fall is in the air!
I will have a few Halloween cards at the Stamp Along on Monday for you to choose.

This one is made with the wicked die cut. The cute little spider in the corner comes with it.
I really like purple for Halloween, don't you?
The web doilies are left overs from last year.

This one is coming back from last time so you have another chance to make one if you didn't last month. Or, maybe you just need one more.

This cat is several years old but just too cute not to use again!

This one is just a fall card. I know that some of you don't send or celebrate Halloween.
This one would work for almost any celebration or just a nice "surprise" card.

This one uses the Nature's Beauty stamp set.
Purchasing this set is giving a $3 donation to mental health organizations.
This one would also be a nice card to receive in the mail for no reason.
Do you ever send cards just to surprise people even when there isn't a special occasion?

Of course, there will be some Christmas cards also.
This one uses the Perfectly Plaid stamp set.
There will be a few more Christmas ones.

The Peacock set has been sitting on the shelf intimidating me for awhile and decided it is time to take it down and work with it. So glad I did! This one turned out so nice. The picture doesn't do it justice.

I will have a few more to show you in another post.
Please leave a comment to let me know which ones you like the best.
Thank you for taking time to check them out.

The hostess code until the Stamp Along is
BXKYZYFV
in case you need to order something and can't make it to the Library.
If your order is over $150, don't use the code because then you get hostess perks.
Thank you!

I will also be having a sale in the near future. More info on that later.
I will have some items at the Stamp Along that you can choose a free one with a $50 order.
These will be bundles this time.

Do you send Halloween cards?
This one will be available for you at the Stamp Along on Monday.

Sympathy cards are always good to have on hand so I have a few of those also.
I am loving the new frame die cuts and embossing folders that go together!
They can both be used for a thinking of you card, if you need one of those in a hurry, also.
Do you like the oval or the rectangle frame the best?

This one is from the Paper Pumpkin kit.
There is also a cute little package that you can choose in place of a card this time.
Do you send cards at Thanksgiving? Of course, we don't have to wait until Thanksgiving to let our friends and family know that we are thankful for them, right?

This card was there last month but coming back as we always need birthday cards and with the fall colors on this one, it is perfect for this time of year.

This one can be a thinking of you or birthday or just a note card.
Do you have any horse loving friends?

This one is for those of us that have time get away before we get our Christmas cards done.
We can still get a few Happy New Year ones out!
Have you ever done that?
Am I the only one?

I hope to see you at the Library on Monday to Stamp Along!

If you can't get there and need some SU! products, Please use the hostess code.

Thank you!

Happy Fall! Specials and Stamp Along cards

The new Holiday Catalog starts today!
you can view it on line from my website.
If you need/want a copy of it, please let me know or come to the Stamp Along next Monday and pick one up. If you are a customer of mine, I would be glad to send you one.
The September special from Stampin' Up! is to buy three of the DSP packs (pages 165, 166, and the top two on 167) and get a fourth one free. If you would like to do a share of these, we can do that at the Stamp Along.

Last night we had our Red Hat meeting at Casa Mexico in Two Rivers.
Since my birthday is in September, I was wearing my purple hat and the waitress was right on it!
She took my order first and called me the Birthday Girl.
At the end of the meal she and three others came to the table and asked me to trade hats for awhile.
They presented me with a delicious dessert and sang to me in Spanish!
At the end, the gentleman took a spoon and fed me some of the whipped cream, then put a dab of it on my nose! Quite an experience!
I divided the dessert so we could all have a taste and everyone agreed that it was very good!

On to some of the cards that you will have to choose from on Monday at the Stamp Along!

Christmas is coming quickly! Where did summer go? Did we even have one?
This one uses the Daisy punches, but done in red, it sure gives a poinsettia look, don't you agree?

This darling deer just had to come along! You can use this for fall or Christmas just by changing the greeting. This one is very easy but has many steps with the cutting and the embossing but so cute.

Here is a much simpler version....but you have to fussy cut the deer!

I have been using way too many sympathy cards lately so I have done some of those for you also.
This one can also be used as a Thinking of you card also.

There are also some Halloween cards coming! Maybe I will have those ready to post tomorrow!

The hostess code to use until  Monday is:

Thank you!

Now on to some more of the cards that I will have for you on Monday.
Now that I have both of the daisy punches, I have been having fun playing with them.
This one was here last month but is coming back to join the two new ones using the same stamps and punches.
Daisies are always so cheerful!

This one uses the medium punch.

This one was inspired by one of my swap cards from my last swap.
The one on the right is the most like the card I received.
It requires more time and effort than the one on the left.
They both use both of the daisy punches.
You can choose to do either or both of them.

This card is very "soft" looking. I think it would also make a nice sympathy card. It is quick and easy to make. A bit of a collage with the beautiful dotted ribbon to finish it.

Yes, there will be another Christmas card. This is the one that I have ready to bring on Monday.
Maybe I will be inspired to do another one this weekend.

I hope to see you on Monday at the Library.
Please leave a message to let me know which of the cards is your favorite.
Thanks!

Hostess code for this month is:

Bonus Days!

Bonus Days are here!
If you received a code from SU! in July, don't forget to bring it along when you place your order in August to get your bonus.
If you are ordering on line, don't forget to put your code in for the order and please use the hostess code
FCS9FHW6
If your order is over $150, don't use the hostess code so you will get the goodies for your order but do remember to put your bonus code in.
Now, on to the cards that will be available on Monday!
This is a sponged background with that beautiful die cut tree.
Anyone in your circle like horses?

Another horse one but this one is a pull up birthday card.
Easy to make but still a little fancier than a regular card.

The new frames that you cut and emboss are wonderful!
This one could be for a note card, especially if you have a friend that is going through a rough time.
You will be able to use the Stamparatus to get those corner designs perfectly placed.

Have you been seeing a lot of butterflies lately?
They have been visiting my flowers. They are always a joy to watch.
This card captures some that you can send and share with your friends.

I hope that you will be able to join me at the Library for the Stamp Along on Monday.
I will share more of the cards that will be available there on my next post.
Thanks for taking time to stop by.

Using the Stash

Do you have a stash of things that just keep collecting?
I am trying to use some of those things.
Example: When I cut down the white layers to 5" X 3 3/4" I end up with stacks of %" X 1" pieces.
I tried embossing those strips of card stock and came up with this card.
What do you think?
I also used some strips of DSP that were left from another project.
You will have a few choices of colors for the layer.

This is the card that I did for the latest swap.
It is labor intense but I did cut a few for the Stamp Along.
If you will be there and want me to save one for you, just ask.

This one uses the Daisy Lane stamp set.
I am asking for your help to meet a challenge from SU!
If you are thinking of purchasing this set in the future, please consider bumping it to the top of your wish list.  The challenge is for me to sell several sets before the 22 of July.
If you purchase one on or before Monday I will give you a retired set that I have of the same value for free. Or, if you would rather, I will make you three cards using that set.
You can find it on page 23 in the catalog.
This one uses the large daisy punch but you can bundle the set with the new smaller daisy punch.
Check that out on page 5.
This one will also have a choice of colors.

Have you noticed the note cards in the catalog?
They come with envelopes and have a neat scalloped edge.
Again, I used some of the narrow strips of DSP that are too good to toss.
These come in four colors and are found on page 168.

Another use for those 1" strips:
Quick and easy and very nice.
Who wouldn't love to get one of these in the mail?

Thanks for checking in.
Please leave a comment to let me know which of the cards you like or hope to make on Monday.
Hope to see you at the Library on Monday!
