This needs to be done before February 10th to help me with the challenge.
Thank you!

I still have not heard from the two winners on my last post so I am picking two more:
Boopnut
and
Rosie for more than one comment
Contact me so I can get your goodie to you.
Thanks for the comments!

Now for a card for you.

I saw a very similar one on Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek's blog.
Lovely as a Tree is one of my most useful stamp sets!
The greeting is from Petite Pairs and is punched with the Large Oval Punch.
The new Hardwood background stamp in the Occasions mini is a very fitting background for the trees, don't you agree?
This one is packed for the February Stamp Along.
You will be able to make one yourself there!

Winners

The winners of the drawing for visiting my blog and leaving a comment since the beginning of January were
Heidi M
and
Jazy1m for leaving more than one comment.
Please email me with your snail address so I can send your gift.
If I don't hear from these two by Friday I will pick a new name.
Thank you to all that left comments. It is so nice to hear from you and makes me want to put more cards and ideas on the blog. I need the encouragement. I would also be open to suggestions.

This is another of the Sympathy cards that was at the Stamp Along today.
The picture makes it look like the bird was stamped and punched and added to the front of the card.
In reality, the card front was punched with the Artisan Label punch and the bird was stamped inside the card to show through.
Thanks for stopping by.

Valentines

These are three of the Valentines that will be available at the Stamp Along on Monday.
With the cold weather that we had last week, I have had a little more time for stamping than usual.
There will be more choices than usual on Monday!

This one is a sneak peek of some of the free SAB products.
You don't have to put those tiny bows on yours, if you choose to make this one but you know how I like those tiny bows! I have to admit that they weren't easy to tie with the bakers' twine even for me.
The DSP on this one is from the Color Collection Paper Stacks.

This card has a some flowers made with the new Petite Petals Punch.
Isn't it cute? It has a stamp set that goes with it but I used it solo here.
The centers of the flowers are from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch pack and a dot from the marker.
The line of hearts is one of the images on the new Make Note This and That Rotary Stamp.
The "love" is from the Best of Love set. Don't forget to redeem your Best of Love stickers for your free set before April! That designer paper is from the Fresh Prints paper stack. I am loving the paper stacks. How about you?

This one uses the Crazy, Mixed-Up Love set.
The red that is cut with the Labels Collection framelits and embossed in the Modern Mosaic folder. The image is stamped with Real Red on Whisper White, then cut with the Apothecary Accents framelits, sponged around the edges and accented with the mini brads.
The background is the Polka Dot Parade DSP.
Which one do you like the best?
Leave a comment and get in the drawing for a prize.
I may even have an extra drawing for the ones that leave more than one comment!
I will post the winner on Monday...but it will probably be late when I get to that after the Stamp Along. Thank you for your comments!

Thoughts And Prayers

I already have a sympathy card ready for the Stamp Along but since I have been using so many of these lately, I thought I would add another choice.
The Thoughts and Prayers set is a favorite of mine for sympathy and thinking of you cards.
These three are basically the same. They all start with the delicate details lace tape (p171) placed on the card and sponged. You can achieve different looks by the amount of sponging you do.
After you sponge, just wipe across with a tissue to remove the extra ink on the tape, and remove the tape to be used for another card. Next, I stamped the flower branch and the sentiment with Calypso Coral ink on the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. I added some washi tape on two of them...one to hide the stems on the flower branch and the other just because.

Which, of the three, do you like the best?
Let me know and get in the drawing for a prize on Monday morning!
Read the details on the previous post.
You could do this same card in almost any of the lighter colors.
I have done a similar one in Smokey Slate.

Here is another card that will be there on Monday.
Gwen inspired this card when she played with this new set from the Occasions Mini.
It comes in a bundle with the Starburst Framelits. I added the DSP that is one of the free items from SU! during SAB starting January 28th

Paper Folding and shaped cards

I found a Page a Day Origami calendar on sale after Christmas and have been enjoying the folds.
When I did the elephant, I thought that it would make a cute card. I was right!
It does.
I made it so it could be removed from the card as it is free standing.
I made the card to be complete be itself after the elephant is removed.
It uses the Zoo Babies set that I have had for awhile but just started to play with now.

I think I will do this and the tea pot card as a class on the scrap booking day on the 23rd.

This cute tea pot card was on Jackie Topa's blog. She is amazing with punch art.
This one is done with the oval framelits. Thanks for sharing Jackie!
I adjusted it so it will fit in a regular A2 envelope.
It opens from the bottom and stands by itself also.
That is new DSP and wash tape from the Occasions catalog.
I think the spout needs a little adjustment , don't you?

These are a few of the items that were in the package:
Three of them are Simply Scrappin' Kits:

These sold for $21.95!
I took a pix of the catalog page so you can see what is in these kits below.
Not real good pix. Sorry.
One pack is Specialty Paper: Candlelight Christmas
The other one is Designer Series Paper: Sycamore Street

There were also many packs of fabric!
I know that I will be able to use these eventually but if you would like a package....I am willing to share!
The following packages are available.
Get your first choice be replying early. First come, first choice. I will hold it for your party.

I have been playing with the new product from the new Occasions catalog and been enjoying it. I am anxious to share the projects I am doing with you at your party and the Stamp Along.

New Year; New Product

I have been playing with some of the new product from the Celebrate the Everyday mini that we, as demonstrators, can get during the month previous to the start date. I am anxious to share them with you.

It feels good to put the Christmas cards to rest. I have had those at the Stamp Along since July!
Now it is time to feel the love in the air and think Valentine's.
This one will be at the Stamp Along with a tiny variation.
The printed vellum is in the new mini and is beautiful! It comes in either silver or gold. Fancy foil Designer Vellum page 23 in the mini.
If you don't have a copy of the Mini, I will have one for you at the Stamp Along.
I have chosen to use the silver with the brushed silver card stock that is still in the catalog. I had to go and check because it has been so long since I used it.
Do you ever forget about the product that you have?
The heart on the front (and the one on the inside) are cut with the heart framelits on the Big Shot.
The one on the front was put in a new embossing folder and through the Big Shot.
Even though the Strawberry Slush ruffle stretch trim from this year's in-colors has been around since June, this is the first time I have outlined a shape with it. It was easier than I thought. Glue dots really made it easy!
The little snowman, made with the Envelope Punch board, isn't coming to the Stamp Along,
It is going to be at Mary's party on the 16th. If you would like to come and make one for yourself, just let Mary or me know and we'll have one cut and ready to go for you.
With all of the snow and cold that we are having right now I am ready to think about tulips and spring!
I was so anxious to try the new Fringe scissors on page 31 in the Mini. I made the grass on the tulip card with it.
Works great!
This card would be good for almost any occasion. It is a single stamp with an Easter saying attached but using the markers to color the stamp itself eliminates that easily! I used the Blessed Easter Stamp on page 20 in the Mini. I also used the Framed tulips folder on that one.
That one will be at the Stamp Along also.
I am going to have a personal Sale a Bration at the January Stamp Along.
If you place an order of $50 (before S&H) I will let you pick a product from many choices that I will have there. There will be retire stamp sets and other products.
Hope that you can make it.
