Happy Holidays!

I hope that all of you are enjoying your families and friends this Holiday Season.
We need to make memories every chance we get!
My dear friend, Linda Juul, left this world to be with the Lord on the 20th of Dec.
Many of you knew that she was fighting Cancer for the second time.
I am so glad that we made lots of memories while could go on the trips that we both enjoyed so much. They are all happy memories. I am grateful for every one of them.
Don't miss an opportunity to make memories!

I am getting ready to work on the next Stamp Along but do have a class ready to go.
This is a Valentine Sampler that some of you had asked me to design.
It uses some of the new products found in the Occasions catalog that starts on Jan 4, 2017.
I will do most of the prep work for you and you can come to the class and finish it up will me.
The class will be at Schroeder's on January 25th at 12:30. The cost will be $10.
The frame is not included.
It fits in a 5 X 7" frame that can be found at Hobby Lobby.

Here are two different styles of frames that are available.
The first one was $5.24 at the 50% off that is almost always available.
The second one with the rounded corners is a little more.
There are also fancier ones that may be more to your liking so I am not including the frame so you can choose the one that you like the best. You can get it before class or wait to pick it out after you have your sampler made so you can take it with you to pick the frame.

Let me know if you are interested in the class. I will need to know by the Stamp Along so I can order supplies for it.  Thanks.

I will be placing one more order before the end of the year. If you NEED anything from the Holiday Catalog please email me before the 30th and I will be able to order it for you.
If you wish to order online, please use the current hostess code

Thank you!

Snowman

The circles are die cuts but the rest is punch art.
This is for those of us that miss someone at Christmas and need to send a Happy New Year card.
I think it is pretty cute and hope you do, too.

These little cookie cutter stamps are just too cute to not use one more time! This one is my favorite but I will have the reindeer, santa, teddy bear and gingerbread man there also.
You can also choose the greeting to make it Happy New Year, Happy Birthday,
or Merry Christmas!

I needed a retirement card and thought you might need one also.
You could also use this as a New Year or birthday card.
I will have those greetings available also.

Hope to see you Monday!

Christmas Pines

The Christmas Pines set is so nice to work with because of those beautiful pine needles.
With the three different sizes of dies for the needles, it is easy to get them cut with one turn of the Big Shot. I like that!
It isn't easy to see on the picture, but the pine cones on this card are layered. They almost feel like pine cones!

This one uses the same set but only the stamps. No cutting on it at all.
The top layer is all one. The tag is stamped right on the card stock and the sponging makes it look like it is layered. It is as pretty as the DSP but you can make as much of it as you like or need.

This one uses just the tree from the Santa's Sleigh set.
Stamp and cut the middle one first. Then stamp the two on the sides.
Decorate the cut out one and attach it with dimensionals.

Do you have your tree decorated already?
Do you need other than Christmas cards? I do have a snowman one ready that I hope to show you next time. Leave a comment if you need some other kind of card. I might have time to fill your suggestion.
Thanks!

December Stamp Along

Do you still need a few more Christmas cards this year?
There will be several at the Stamp Along next Monday!

This one uses the cute little mice.
I like mice. You might have to be careful not to send it to someone who doesn't like them.

Here is a quick easy one that is using some of my stash.

This is one of the die cuts that I didn't think I needed!
I saw it done and had to have it!
There are three choices for you. It is quite versatile.
It is a shaker card so it will take a little longer time to do but so worth it!
It makes a birthday cake (or any other kind of cake) and a Christmas tree.
You can also make it into a bell for Christmas or wedding or anniversary!
Come and check it out.
These three will be available at the Stamp Along.

Thanks for stopping!
More of the choices tomorrow.

More Swap cards

Here are the rest of the cards that I got for swaps at On Stage in Madison.

Only the lower one on the right has a name on it. It was done by Wendy Calkins. Those bells are so much prettier than they look in the photo.

This group is by Shannon Colon and Becky Hay de Garcia in the top row.
Bottom row: Cheryl Charland and two without names.

This first one is another by Becky Hay de Garcia and Margo Richardson in the top row.
Bottom row: No name and Deb Meulemans.

Swap Cards

Here are some of the swaps that I wanted to share with you from my last swap. Computer problems delayed my sharing. I have to get together with my computer so we are both working at the same time. These are the ones that I swapped when I was in Madison at the On Stage event.

The top row Julie Milliron and Kristine Heilman. She called this a tag stack card. Each of the four tags folds out with a message. Would you be interested in making one like it?
Second row: Kathleen Chapman and Stacy Viau.

Top row: Cindy O'Connor and Jo Ann Williams.
Bottom: Kathy Beck and Debi Ryan
I have already shared Debi's card with you at the last Stamp Along.
I just love the colors she used!

The first one did not have a name on it. Second one by Sandy Becker.
Bottom row: No name and Sue Sheets.

I have a few more swaps to share with you before I start showing you what you can expect to see at the next Stamp Along.

Big Sale

Don't want you to miss this if there is anything on the list that you want/need.

Starting on November 21, there will be big sales. You will have to check them out each day as some of them only last for 24 hours. Sorry, I don't know how to put the whole list of items right here for you. You will have to hop over to my SU! site. Check out the clearance rack while you are there.

Cookie Cutter Punch

The Cookie Cutter Punch was good at Halloween and is great for Christmas and beyond!
There are three cards that will have to share the punch but I don't think there is anyone that can't handle that.
Here are two of them.

Which one do you like the best?

Last weekend I was in Madison at the On Stage Stamping' Up! event.
We stayed at the Country Inn and Suits. The first thing we noticed, after the nice large room was:

Reminded me of the cruise where they always had the towels made into a critter.

On Friday night I was able to attend Center Stage with my upline. Stampin' Up! had a beautifully set table with treats for us plus a very nice bag.

They always are very attentive to details which makes it so special for us.

Then it was time for the meal.
The salad was a meal unto itself!
The main course was a huge steak with mashed potatoes and green beans.
The dessert was Cheese Cake drizzled with chocolate.
Yes, I forgot to take a picture of them. Sorry.

We got to see the next catalog and the SAB sets and even work with many of them.
Lots of good stuff coming!

I did get to go across the stage a few times. This time I was up there with other gals in our group for having a very good quarter. Thank you to all of my wonderful customers!
That is my Upline to my right on the picture.

This one is with my gals that were able to go.

I did get some nice samples while I was there. I will try to get some pictures of them on here for you in the next few days. Maybe, after the Stamp Along. Let me know if you would like that.

In the meantime, here are a few more for the Stamp Along this time.

This one is just a pretty birthday card that could be used anytime.
I think I needed a break from Christmas cards.

More Stamp Along cards

One of the Thanksgiving cards that will be there.
I saw this on Pinterest and fell in love with it so I am sharing it with you.
I finally played with the Fox Builder punch.
There may be another one using that punch.

This card is quick and easy using the Blackboard Technique.

Hope to see you Monday!

More Fall cards

Here are two of the fall cards that will be at the next Stamp Along.
Since November started on a Tuesday (today) it seems like a long time to wait for the second Monday this month. That makes the Stamp Along the latest (the 14th) it can possibly be in the month.
This week I will be going to the Stamping' Up! event in Madison. Hopefully, I can get a few swaps made so I can get some new ideas to share with you.

The contest over at Gloria's blog is up and you can vote there. Please do that.

Happy Fall!

I love the fall colors!
Sunshine on the fall colors is a plus.
We could use more sunshine but the leaves are still so pretty even though they are past the peak.
I stamped with friends today and we all chose fall cards!
This is the one that I did.

This is one of the ones I entered into the Mission contest this month. Haven't heard the results yet.

This one was Bonnie's.

This one was Bonnie's. Yup, there are two Bonnies.
She used a napkin for the main image. Very neat.

This one was Carol's.

This one was Kathy's.

The pictures don't do them justice.
It was a fun day of stamping and thought I would share the neat ideas with you.
Now, off to get going on the Stamp Along cards!

Thinking of You!

Even though the holidays are very close we always need to have the
Thinking of you cards for our friends
that just need a little cheering up for one reason or another.
Here is one that is very quick and easy.
The saying is from the hostess set on page 201 in the Annual catalog.
The bubbles come from the Playful Backgrounds set on page 121.

This is another Christmas one and it also uses the Time of Year hostess set.
It also uses the Peaceful Pines set.
The Cable Knit folder is a step up from other folders.
Just come and try it out to see what I mean.

Hope to see you at the Stamp Along on Monday!

Merry Christmas!

Even though Christmas is still a ways off, we need to start our cards, if we haven't already.
I do know some people that have theirs all ready to go in the mail already.
I don't even have an idea for my own yet!
I am a do it in December person.
When do you do your cards? Do you have yours all ready to go?
I always have to wait because I am afraid that a better idea might come along.
I also like to send them at the last minute. I don't want anyone sending me a card because they got one from me.
Here are a few that will be at the Stamp Along next Monday. October 10.

This one uses the cookie cutter punch and is from the set that bundles with the punch for the 10% savings. The ones that were on the last post are from the add on set for Halloween. I am sure that you will be seeing more of these next month but that punch is going to be busy enough with these for this month. These little gingerbread cookies, still on the cookie sheet, can be an Anniversary card just as easily as a Christmas card.  My cookie sheet is made from the brushed silver card stock that we used to carry. We now have the silver foil but I am determined to use some of my stash before it makes me move out. I hope you don't mind.

This one is also using the discontinued brushed card stock. This time the copper. I really liked that card stock which is the reason that I still have some. I haven't used much of the discontinued items in the past but have recently decided to share them with you rather than let them take up space here.
Isn't that pine cone neat?
I like the black board technique for the angel also. I wasn't looking forward to coloring her so this is the perfect solution.

This one is just in the "cute" category.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Fall!

Here is another one of those cute characters from the Cookie Cutter Halloween set.
Which one of the four is your favorite?
Check yesterday's post to see the other three.

Here is another fall card.
Thinking of you is such a popular theme. You can send it to anyone for any occasion.
Better yet, you can send it for no occasion at all.
Do you like to get a card in the mail?

These will both be available at the Stamp Along next Monday.
Hope to see you there.

Happy Halloween!

There are just too many cute stamps to not make Halloween cards!
Some of these could be Fall cards if you don't send Halloween ones.
On this first one, you can choose either the Wisteria Wonder or the Pumpkin Pie as your background color. It is a Z fold card and the black strip is glimmer paper but it sure doesn't show up very well on here.
Which one do you like the best?

These are two more of the cute characters in the set. Very easy to do with the punch.
