Happy Fourth of July!

Let's all say some extra prayers for our country this weekend!
Also have a great time with your family and friends at all the celebrations you attend.

These cards were made with the Swirly Scribbles framelits. The one on the left is made with the scraps from the one on the right. Don't you think that the flag made with the scraps is just as nice as the one made with the cut? I just can't throw away all that good card stock when, with a little extra love and care it can be turned into such a neat card.
I added 13 stars for our original colonies made from the border heart punch.

More Stamp Along Cards

First of all, I would like to thank all of you that have left comments on my blog.
Without you, there isn't a purpose for writing this. It really helps me to know what you like to hear about. If you have any suggestions, I would like to hear those also.
Now, here are the cards I finished yesterday.
This one is done with the new Flirty Flamingo color and the Love You Lots hostess set.
The same one that has those cute Hedgehogs!

Which little person wouldn't love to get this "monster" card?
A stamping friend sent this along for me in a swap.
Thank you, Liz, they are darling! She had one in each of the new in colors but that would be too difficult to prepare that many choices for one card at the Stamp Along.
Maybe I will bring them all so you can vote on the one you like the best.
This is the one that I chose for this time.

Do you have someone that has a birthday near the Fourth of July?
This card would be perfect for a Patriotic birthday.
Or just leave the greeting off and make it as a note card.

Do you have a lot of scraps? Here is a perfect way to use a few of them.
You get to choose Birthday or Thinking of You and the pattern you wish to use.
Just the rounding of a few corners really makes it look like something other than just a square piece of paper!

Thanks for stopping to take a look at the cards I have been working on for this Stamp Along.
Hope to see you there on Monday!

Some of the cards for the Stamp Along

The Stamp Along will be on Monday, June 13th.
Here are a few more of the cards that are ready to go.

This butterfly is made with Tip Top Taupe and Elegant Eggplant ink.
Can you see it in there?
The Timeless Textures set is used along with the Watercolor Wings set.

This one combines two of the new sets.
Those cute little hedgehogs are a part of the Love you Lots set that is for Hostesses.
Did you know that a $150 order qualifies you for hostess/stampin' rewards?
Check it out on page 197 in the new catalog.
Do you need a new catalog?
I will have some extra ones at the Stamp Along if you don't have one yet.

This one will have the option of a Thinking of you or a sympathy card.
Some of the new designer series paper (DSP) is used on it.
Those beautiful flowers are from the Remarkable You set.

Just noticed that I forgot to crop the last two photos. Sorry!

Just a reminder that the hostess code for on line orders until the Stamp Along is
7HSMJJZ9
Thank you to all that use the on line and the hostess code!
Hope to see you at the Stamp Along on Monday!

Graduation and Swirly Birds

Do you ever use part of the invitation to make the card for an event?
That is what I did for this one.
That picture in the corner was on the invitation telling us where he is attending college next year.
There is another part of it on the inside but I didn't think of taking a picture of that.
Sorry. The party was last weekend so the card is gone.

Here are a few more that I have done but the invitations were by way of FB and email.
The one with glimmer is for my Grand daughter. I can't believe that she is graduating already!
She is at prom tonight as I write this.

Here is a card using the new Swirly Birds die cut.
The more I use this set, the better I like it. It has a lot of little parts so I am thinking that it will be better to do a class with it and have you do several cards with it.
Here is one that will be at the Stamp Along though.
I have used some of the retired Designer Series Paper (DSP) on this one but there is a new embossing folder on there and the Thoughtful Banners bundle was also used.
The punch is neat as I punched both of those banners at the same time.

There will be more cards using this set for sure!
I will be doing a class using this bundle on the 29th of June. I will have samples and more info on that at the Stamp Along.
The hostess code for on line orders is
7HSMJJZ9
until the Stamp Along.
Thank you!
