Birthday cards

There will be several birthday cards available for you.
How many birthday cards do you send each month?
Answer that question in the comments and you could win the birthday prize.
I will pick one of the names from the comments on this post and have a prize for you.
Watch future posts for the winner.
This first card has an opening on the front. The candle that you see is actually the inside of the card.

This one is also just a little different as the easel stands up when the card is open.

This one has the cute little bow on the top made from the bow builder punch.

I hope you will be able to come to the Stamp Along and make a few of these.

If you wish to place an online order, please use the hostess code
so it links with the Stamp Along order.
Thank you!

This is another beautiful set of stamps and dies!
This card will be available at the Stamp Along.

These four cards using this set will be available at a class on August 24 at 12:30 or 6:00PM at Schroeder's in Two Rivers.
Please notice that I will be offering an evening class.
This set can be found on page 49 in the catalog. It is filled with so many nice sayings. It is also a bundle so you can save 10% by purchasing both the stamps and dies at the same time. The class will be free with the purchase of the bundle. Or $20 without a purchase.

Thoughtful Branches - limited time set

There is a new set that is available for a limited time!
Thoughtful Branches is a fun set to work with and has a lot of versatility.
These are three that I have done for you to try at the Stamp Along on August 8th.

This is the same tree without the leaves!
I have paired it with the swirly dies to make the snowbanks.
This one could be the start, or continuation, of your Christmas cards.

This one uses one of the Thoughtful Branches stamps to make the tree on the inside.
Those of you that placed an order at the last Stamp Along may recognize the decorative window
on this card as the product sample that you received with that order.

Those of you that have placed a $50 order this month (July) have received an email from SU! with a code for $5 off of your order in August. Don't forget to bring that code with you to the Stamp Along because you will also get free shipping if you use your code after participating in the Stamp Along.

If you are placing an order online before the Stamp Along, please use the hostess code
to link your order to the Stamp Along order.
Thank you!

Hope to see you at the Stamp Along to try out this new stamp set.
It will only be available for the month of August.
There is another card that I have done with this set that is even more special than these.
I will be demoing that one at home parties during August.
Let me know if you would like to host a party.

More Stamp Along cards

Need a baby card? This one is very cute...all babies need a mobile!
You will have lots of choices for the color of your ducks! I have LOTS of DSP scraps.
The other card shown on the left is a shaker card. So easy to make with the new dimensional strips.

This one also uses the flower builder punch. One of the cards I showed you in the last post also used that punch. The background was made with the new texture stamps.

Hope to see you at the Stamp Along on Monday!

Stamp Along on Monday! Check out these cards.

There is a very nice promotion going on at SU! For each $50 order you place during July, you will receive a coupon for $5 off of your order in August.

Did you get everything you want from the new annual catalog yet? Since it came out only a month ago, you probably still have some items on your wish list, and we have some great news for you! For every $50 USD/$60 CAD you spend in between July 7 and July 31, you’ll get a $5 USD/$6 CAD Bonus Days coupon that you can use August 2-31. This is a great opportunity to shop from your wish list, whether you buy your favorite products now or later in August with your coupons!

• Promotion period: July 7–31, 2016
• Redemption period: August 2–31, 2016
• An email address is required to participate in this promotion; Bonus Days coupon codes can only be delivered via email.
• It is strongly recommended that participants both save emails containing their Bonus Days coupon codes AND write down the coupon codes in a safe place. Codes cannot be resent if the email is lost, and lost codes cannot be recovered.
• Bonus Days coupon codes can be redeemed for any product, excluding Starter Kits and Paper Pumpkin subscriptions. New prepaid Paper Pumpkin codes can be redeemed.

There is also a wonderful new bundle that will be a limited edition. It will only be available during August. It won't be in any of the catalogs. It is called Thoughtful Branches.
You can see a preview on it on the Artisan Blog Hop.
Just google Thoughtful Branches.

Here are some of the cards that will be at the Stamp Along.
Some of the elements on these two cards are from my stash. Too good to throw out so I designed these cards around them. I hope you like them well enough to use up all of the elements.

The Monster card was well liked last time so it is back in a different color! The color of the month is Dapper Denim. The Emerald Envy one will be back also so you can choose either one. Or both!
Let me know if you want another of the new in colors featured again next month on the Monster Card.

This one is much prettier in real life. This color didn't photo real well. It uses the flower builder punch.

The hostess code for this time is
Hope to see you on Monday!

Swirly Bird cards

The Swirly Birds set has become a favorite of mine.
I wasn't sure about it when I first saw it in the catalog but there is just so much that can be done with it that I just keep wanting to use it.
These are the four cards that I had entered into the contest this time.
There were several entries this time and I was not the winner.

These are the insides of the above cards.
One is a pop up and one is a box in a card.

If you would like to make these cards, I would be glad to do a private class with you and a few friends. Let me know and we can work out a time for your class. You could even earn your class or some product free.

Here are a few more cards done with the same set.

I wasn't very excited about this set but the more I work with it the better I like it. One of these MIGHT show up at the Stamp Along.
Would you like to make one of them? Let me know which one, if any, and I will see if I can get it there for you.
The hostess code is
until July 11th. Thank you for using it if you order on line.

Water color classes and Stamp Along cards

Earlier this spring I took a few watercolor classes at the Senior Center.
It was fun because I went with friends both times.
It was supposed to be relaxing but I was more stressed than relaxed.
The second time was a little less stressful than the first.
I can imagine it is the same for you coming to the Stamp Along.
The first couple of times of doing anything new is an adjustment.
We didn't have a choice of the subject matter. The picture was given to us and we traced it onto the watercolor paper. I did learn a lot about the blending of the colors and a few techniques to use with watercolor. I wish I could have gone to a few more of the classes but my schedule didn't allow for that. I would have enjoyed doing the one of the flower, I think.

What do you think? Is there any improvement in the second one? LOL
It was certainly more detailed than the first. Both of them took the entire class time to finish.
Had there been more time, I would have used it. Maybe it is good that I had to quit when I did.

I enjoy using the aqua painters on cards. That is all the watercolor I need for now.
Do you like to use the aqua painters?

If you choose to order on line before the July Stamp Along on the 11th please use the hostess code
Thank you so much!

Here are two of the cards that will be available on the 11th.
Do you remember the vertical greetings that we used to have?
We have this set of topiaries and vertical greetings.

This one uses a few punches and a masking technique.

Hope to see you on the 11th at the Library.

Note card class

These five darling note cards are available to you in a class on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Schroeder's Department Store at 12:30.
It is free with a $45 order or $15 without an order.
The class uses theThoughtful Banners set on page 73 and the matching banner punch. The papers are from the Pop of Pink pack on page 172.
If you would like this class but can't come, I can put it in the mail for you or you could pick it up. The pieces are all included but you would need to do the stamping yourself as per SU! policy.
It includes the five note cards and all of the materials to make them into the cheerful little greetings they are here. Can you imagine the joy one of them would bring to one of your friends that could use a little cheer?
