Stamp Along cards and fun adventure

Birthday cards are needed all the time.
Here is a choice for this time.

Monochromatic is always a good choice and the Island Indigo works well for masculine and feminine. This one is quick and easy.

Wiinter is coming even though we have had extra mild weather so far.
Make these cards and you will be able to send warm wishes when the cold arrives!

Thank you!

Yesterday, Linda and I went to see the Nativity display at the Lutheran Church on South Tenth in Manitowoc. It was amazing! People from the community bring their Nativity sets in and they display them. We were in awe of the wonderful way they put sets next to each other by color or size.
Here are a few of the sets.

This was the first grouping. The background has large pieces of sheet music.

This is a very tall display with many individual sets on it.

These two are for children. They are each a "hands on" set. One is a puzzle and all the pieces fit into the stable. The other is made of fabric. All the pieces fit into the barn.

This was one that I especially liked because of its simplicity.

On the way home we went to the light show at the Zoo.

We stopped at the shelter and saw the elves and had a cookie!

Another fun day!

December Stamp Along

Another month has slipped away!
I was the demo for the stamp club this month so I revisited the Bargello technique.
Here is the card that we made. It is a little time consuming but is a pretty technique.
We had fun and they all seemed to like the technique.
What do you think of the card?
Definitely not the traditional Christmas colors!

Following are a few of the cards that I have ready for the Stamp Along on Monday the 14th of Dec.

Several of these could be for Christmas or for a winter birthday.
Are you finished with your Christmas cards?
I still haven't decided on a design for mine. That will be my next project after the Stamp Along is ready.

i have been going through my stash of stuff and decided to share that with you.
This card is made with the beautiful Mirricard paper that I found. There are several choices of color  from which you can choose.
It is plain and simple but very elegant at the same time.
The picture doesn't do it justice.

Here is another plain and simple. The white piece is textured with the softly falling embossing folder.
It doesn't show very well on the picture.

One more for today. This one has a very pretty poem on the inside that is the legend of the poinsettia. Another thing I found in my stash. I hope that you don't mind if I share my "contraband" with you.

Stampin' Up! is having a big end of the year sale that you can check out on my site.
You can add these items to your Stamp Along order and get free shipping with participation in the Stamp Along. If you wish to order and can't make it to the SA, please use the hostess code
