Stampin' Up! cute.

Isn't that guy cute?
I didn't like that mustache framelit until I saw this card idea over on Deb Valder's blog. I did get it because I intended to use it for hair with punch art. Just another example of seeing it and having to have it! He is so cute and would make a masculine card for almost any occasion. Do you need a masculine card? This one will be at the Stamp Along in September. It also uses a neat technique that you will be able to use with many other stamps.

The Thankful card could be used for a thank you at any time but especially in the fall.
Could also be a good  Thanksgiving card. Do you send cards for Thanksgiving?

Remember to leave a comment to get in the drawing for a little prize this month.
If you come to the Stamp Along, you will get free shipping on any order that you place there but if you can't come and  you need some product, please order from my on line store and use this code:
SRWHJZPY
That will link your order to the Stamp Along order. It will still be sent directly to you but helps me to be able to give you goodies from time to time.
Thanks!

Stampin' Up! wedding card and Work of Art creation

Two choices for using the Label flip card framelit die for a wedding card.
The main difference is the sayings but the second one has more embellishments on it also.

This pix shows the inside of the above cards.
These will be at the Stamp Along next Monday.
Do you need a wedding card soon?
The addition of the finishing touch edgelits die, the Papillon Potpourri and Petite Petals sets along with the punches really dress this card up!

I have seen so many wonderful designs done with the Work of Art set!
I have been playing with it and designing the cards for the class that I have coming up on the 11th.
I haven't seen this one but it sure worked as the stamps hit the ink and then the card stock!
I love when that happens!
Any of you Red Hatters want this one to come to the Stamp Along?
Let me know.

Fun, fun, fun

I haven't shared many of the cards for this month's Stamp Along.
I have been out having other kind of fun.
We had a Red Hat get together on Tuesday because several of our group wasn't able to make it to the Picnic on Friday.

We met at the HogWild! The food was delicious and we had a good time.
We usually do!
The Picnic on Friday was hosted by the Manitowoc Chapter and they did a marvelous job! The salads and desserts were all homemade and they were all excellent! No, I didn't try all of them. There were just too many to do that!

There were members present from many of the Red Hat groups in the county! It was nice to meet new friends and reacquaint with some that I hadn't seen in quite awhile.

The host group has a group of ladies that do line dancing. They were great! They don't do it to Country music but to the oldies but goodies!

They also have a group of singers that were great. They change the words to familiar songs to adapt them to the Red Hats. We did a lot of laughing!
Great day!
I was very lucky and won a door prize and the 50/50 raffle! A friend and I bought the 6 for $10 tickets together and decided to share the pot if either of us won. I don't know which of us would have had the winning ticket had we divided them. I'm glad we kept them together! Share the wealth!

The winner of my drawing for leaving a comment on my blog this time is Shirley for the comment she left on Aug. 8th.
Thanks to all that leave comments. You are the reason that I have been blogging!
Keep it up.
There will be another drawing next month.

You Rock Stampin' Up!

This single stamp makes a great retirement, birthday, or get well card!

All of these cards will be at the Stamp Along next Monday.

Do you like punch art? These little trees made with punches would deliver your Christmas greetings with a smile.
There will be a full selection of types of cards from which you can choose the five that you want to make.
Don't forget to leave a comment for me so your name can get in the drawing for a little gift when I pick from the names on Monday morning.
I will bring many of the swap cards that I got at convention to the Stamp Along also.
I think the swaps just get better and better each year.
Thanks for visiting!
