Merry Christmas!

This is a card that I did for a swap awhile ago and am using it here to wish you a Merry Christmas a little early. Some of you received this with your back in October.  Next Monday should be the Stamp Along. Will we ever be able to stamp together again? I sure hope so! I miss stamping with you and for you.

I hope that you are all still stamping!
The new catalogs (the Spring Mini and the Sale A Bration) are coming soon. I will put one of each of them in with your order this time, as well as two cards for you.
If you wish to order online, please use the hostess code:

W7HBQTB4
If your order is $150 or more before shipping and tax do not use the code because, at that point, you will receive hostess goodies for yourself.
The retired list for the Holiday Catalog is available on my site if you want to check that out. These are things that are available only as long as the supply lasts.
Here is the list of things that will be carried over but they will not be together as a bundle when they return in the next catalog.

The clearance rack was also updated so you might want to check that out also.

I have been working on my Christmas cards but I will have two cards for you for your order this time. They will be made with some of the new products from the Spring Mini and/or the SAB catalogs.
They will both be a surprise this time!

Please go Face Book and join my group
Mystery Stamping with Carolee
Each Tuesday evening I post a list of supplies for you to gather.
On Wednesday evening I post the directions for you to use to make a card.
After you make your card, you can take a picture of it, and post it in the comments.
If there are at least 10 posted, I will do a drawing and send a prize to one lucky winner.
It is fun and free.
It gives me a purpose to keep writing those directions that you read (or don't) at the Stamp Along.
Thanks for stopping by and have a Merry Christmas but stay safe!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thursday, November 5, 2020

Tis the season to give thanks.

How do you like this beautiful weather for the beginning of November?

It could stay this way until Christmas for me!

Still no Stamp Along.

I am missing stamping with you more and more!

We are having the SU! OnStage event this weekend. Tonight we had all of the recognition.

Thanks to you, my wonderful customers, and those of you that have joined my team, I was recognized in three categories! Thank you! The recognition was all done tonight. It is so different to do this online when I am so used to going on the trip and meeting up with all the other demonstrators with whom I have become friends over the years.

Tomorrow, we will get to see the new mini catalog that will start in January. I am excited about that. We did see a few sets that will be in it, as three Million $$$ sellers demoed the stamp set that they helped to design tonight. I NEED to have the one for sure! It has wonderful sayings that fit is three or four different punches that can be used on the card front.

I am doing the Mystery Stamping with Carolee on Facebook each week to keep me in shape for stamping and writing directions so that when we are able to go back to the Library, I will be able to be able to remember how to do that! This is the card that I did last week. Another one that could have been at the Stamp Along! Check it out, if you haven't yet. It is free and fun and you will be helping me to stay in shape for the Stamp Along.

This is one of the cards that you would have been able to make at the Stamp Along next Monday. I will be making some more of them so that there will be one in with your order this month. That also includes the on line orders. If you are ordering on line, please use the Hostess code:  9TK2JHXE  unless your order is over $150 (before shipping and tax) because then you will receive hostess goodies. Thank you!

I

There will be another card (you will get two) in with your order but it will probably be one that I will be making at the OnStage event tomorrow so I don't know what it will look like yet!
I hope that you are all stamping and staying safe at home. I am hearing of too many of my friends getting the Covid or being exposed to it. Luckily, they have recovered from it.

Thanks for stopping by and remember to count your blessings. Each of you are counted by me!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

I would have designed several Halloween cards for you to make at the Stamp Along but, alas, there will be no Stamp Along for several months!  This cute card was made by Sharon from her Paper Pumpkin kit and given to me so I am sharing it with you along with my Halloween greetings!

Since we haven't been able to stamp together at the Library, I have started to do a Mystery Stamping challenge on Face Book. If you are on FB, please check it out. Search for Mystery Stamping with Carolee and ask to join the group. I post the supplies you need on Tuesday night (late) and the directions to assemble the supplies on Wednesday night (late) then you can create your card when you have time. You take a picture of your card and post it in the comment section before Sunday at noon. I put the names of everyone that posted in the special container and draw one out (if there are at least ten posted) and send that person a little participation gift. It is free but I do appreciate any orders of things that you "need" from Stampin' Up!

Here are a few of the results of the Mystery Stamping Challenges.

This one was a challenge for me to write all of the directions! I must have done ok because there were several wonderful cards posted that week! You can go to the group and check them out for yourself.

This one is a simpler design and much easier for which to write directions.
Both of these could have gone to the Stamp Along for you to make.
The only difference would have been that I would have had the supplies there for you to use.

This is one of the cards that I will include with the orders this month. Next Monday is the second Monday of the month and I continue to place an order on that day.
I am so very appreciative to all of you that are helping me to stay afloat! Since I am not using all that cardstock to cut and pack for the cards that are made at the Stamp Along, my own orders are much smaller also. I have been joining swaps and this is one that I made for one that is coming up. It is designed to be an Anniversary or wedding card (there is bling on the lady zebra's hoof) but it could be for any celebration.

I have not designed the other one that I will include yet but there will be two cards to show my appreciation for your order. If you would like to order on line instead of emailing or calling it to me that is fine. Please use the hostess code
63AAMHUP
If your order is over $150 (before shipping) you will receive the hostess benefits, so don't use the code but I will still send the two cards to you, along with my thanks and appreciation!

Stamp Along cards

No, we are not able to Stamp Along at the Library yet.

These are some of the cards that you would be able to make if we could though!

I will put them both in with your order though, if you chose to place an order this month.

I will be putting that in on the second Monday. September 14, this month.

If you order on line, and your order is less than $150,  please use the hostess code:

NSMTYBH3

I certainly do like this new in color of Magenta Madness! So many of my recent cards use it!

I have also used the square doily on here. I sponged it a little to make it softer. That is the Cinnamon Cider on the layer and Just Jade for the leaves.

This one is one that I did in a virtual class.
It uses another one of the new in colors, the Misty Moonlight.
The stamp set is Posted for You on page 81 of the annual caralog.
I love the script on the words in that set. And, again, the Magenta Madness for the ribbon.

I did figure out how to get my pictures on here again. They have reverted to the way that I used to have to do it! No longer are they allowing me to just drag them over from the desk top! But, it does work!

I would like to invite all of you to join my Facebook group
Mystery Stamping with Carolee
(Just put that into the search on FB and ask to join)
You will need to be approved but I will definitely do that!

Would any of you be interested is getting a kit in the mail with card stock cut and embossed but not stamped, that is against policy, to make five cards like you would do at the Stamp Along? If there is any interest in that, I would consider doing that for you. Please let me know in the comments below or email me.

I miss stamping with you at the Library.. I am even missing the Haul and Carry! That is how bad it is.
Take care.
Stay safe.
Keep stamping!

Mystery Stamping part 2

CLUE 2
I am going to give you all of the clues in this post so you can work at your own pace and not have to search for them. Follow along to make your card then post a picture of it in the comments here.

Ready?
....fold your card base
....cut your DSP into 5 strips 1” x 4”
....arrange and attach them on the card front
....cut a die shape from the same color as the card base
....stamp image on the white scrap and cut (with die or scissors)
....stamp greeting on scrap white and trim
....attach die, image, and ribbon to card front
....add greeting
....add white to inside of card
Now, post a picture of your card in the comments below.
(IF you can’t post the picture, just comment “Done” and message the picture to me. I will then reply to your “Done” with your picture)

On Sunday, after noon, I will do a random drawing of everyone that has a posted picture either here or on FaceBook for a prize.
Have fun!

I will post the card that I did using these clues and the winner or the drawing on Sunday night.

Please share my page with anyone that you think would enjoy doing this. Thank you!

Mystery Stamping

What is Mystery Stamping?

Since we can't stamp together at the Library, I thought I would try to inspire you with a mystery stamp session.

I will give you a list of things to gather and then post clues (directions) for you to follow to make a card.

Would you like to try it?

Go to my Face Book page and follow along.

Care 2 Stamp with Carolee? is the page. Please Like the page and share it with any one that you think would enjoy using the supplies that they have in their stash. The first clue is:

Gather the following materials:

  • Card  base in a dark color 8 1/2" x 5 !/2"
  • scrap of the same color as card base
  • white card stock 5 1/4" x 4"
  • DSP to coordinate with the card base 5" x 4"
  • medium shape die
  • stamp set with image for focal point
  • if the image needs to be colored, get the markers or pencils or other supplies to color
  • stamp set with greeting
  • scrap white for stamping
  • ribbon
  • general supplies (trimmer, adhesive, scissors, etc.)

The next time I post,, i will give the directions to use the materials to turn it into a card.

After that, you make the card and take a picture of it, and post it on my FB page.

I will put all of the names of the posted card makers in a container and pick one for every ten that are posted to win a prize.

Let me know in the comments what you think about this and give me suggestions of what else I can do to inspire you to create cards.

I am still having trouble posting pictures on here but I did get the one above on so I will continue to work on getting those swap cards on here.

The Hostess code for this month is NSMTYBH3  If you place an order on line. If the order is larger than $150 do not use the code because you will get the hostess benefits yourself.

Thank you!

Another Month of Stamping Alone

How are you?

Just a reminder for those of you that earned a bonus code in July to place an order now to redeem it. I will be placing the order on Monday as it is the second Monday of August.

I hope that you have been stamping. I have been doing more swaps than usual because I have had the time to do that instead of preparing cards for the Stamp Along. I am (slowly but surely, I hope) working on doing a FaceBook live Stamp Along for/with you. Let me know if you would like that or any thoughts you have on that idea.

Today I am going to share a few of the swap cards that I got back for this one.

I guess I won't be sharing swap cards after all!

I can't get them to import! There must have been an update that changed things and things aren't working today!

I will be sending two cards and a product sample with your order again this month. One of them will be the swap card that I did. I posted it last month. It is the one with the present in the new Magenta Madness in color. That must be my new favorite color. I have made several cards using that color. The other one will be a surprise.

The hostess code for this month is:

TTVXRKME

If your order is more than $150, don't use the hostess code as you will get the hostess benefits for yourself. You will still get the cards and sample.

Thank you!

I will try to post the swap cards on FaceBook at Care 2 Stamp with Carolee?

Happy Fourth of July!

Bonus days are back!
For every $50 of product that you spend in July, you will receive a code by email that is good for $5 off of your order in August.
You will also receive the two cards that I will make for you that you could have made for yourself, it we had had the Stamp Along.
I showed you one of them in the last post and the second one will still be a surprise. I have preordered  a few things from the new Holiday mini catalog, so it will probably be made with one of those sets.
Yes, it is time for the Holiday mini!
There will be a copy in with your July order as they will arrive with my preorder.
Just email your order to me or order on line using the hostess code
 9839ZPHP

THANK YOU!
If your order is larger than $150 (before shipping and tax) don't use the hostess code because you will want to get the hostess benefits for yourself!
You will receive three codes for $5 each to spend in August, and I will send you the cards and samples.

I have been working on some Paper Pumpkin kits and other left overs from classes I have done in the past. Here are two of the Paper Pumpkin kit cards that I have done.
This is the most recent one.
If you would like to order the August one, you need to do that before the 10th of July.
If you would like to preorder three months on an order, that qualifies for a code for $5 off in August.

This one also had four designs but I must have sent the other one.
These are so pretty using the new in colors.

I found several of these DSP pieces cut for these cards. Yes, they are from several years ago!
I did upgrade them with the Forever Fern set (page110) and the new in colors, Magenta Madness and Just Jade. I also used the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Another one that was just waiting to be stamped and put together.
I used the new embossing folder, Ornate Floral on the layer.

This one is totally new.
I had to try the square vellum doilies! I sponged it just a bit.
Maybe I will include one of these with your order so you can see the doily.
The card was inspired by Connie Stewart.
I am really enjoying the new in colors.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope to hear from you with a comment or an order since we can't stamp together at the Library yet. I am still hoping for September but watching the spiking after Memorial Day, I am guessing there will be another one after the Fourth of July.
Stay safe, my friends.
Send some Happy Mail!

Blossoms in Bloom and Path of Petals Swap Cards

I joined another swap and made this card using the Blossoms in Bloom set.
Much easier than the other one I made (on my last post) for the last swap!

The Embossing folder that I used on this one is just beautiful.
I have the cards back from the other swap and will share some of them with you.
As soon as there are five comments on here I will post some of them.
I REALLY would like to hear from you!

I hope that you are all stamping!
I have been finishing some kits from classes that I have done in the past using stamp sets that we have now.
This is one of them.
It uses the Someone Special set.

The inside is a slide open as as you open the card to reveal the other little critter.
I do love my little critters!

This is another swap that I have made and all of the cards will have special folds!
This one uses the Field of Flowers set. It is a bundle with a punch that makes three different sizes of flowers. The Crushed curry ones are punched and added with glue dots. The Blackberry Bliss ones are stamped.

The inside is the W fold and used the stamps from the set in different combos.
Do you like the extra folds?

These are the ones that I enjoy doing and teaching others how to do in a class.
They are a little more complicated to write directions to do at the Stamp Along but easy enough to do with a step by step instruction.
I still have a class packed and ready to teach as soon as it is safe enough to do that.
Right now, I can't imagine wiping those ink pads, stamps, and tools down before passing them to the next person! I will wait until I feel it is safe enough to do the class without more "wiping down" than I can deal with for three cards.

Thank you to those of you that have placed orders with me!
without you, I can't keep going.
Still no Stamp Along in July. The Library will not be having any group meeting yet.
If you place an order before July13th, I will make two cards for you to be included with your order or sent to you if you use the hostess code.

9839ZPHP

This is one of them. It would have been at the Stamp Along.
It uses the Path of Petals set that I set up on the Stampamajig to line up the three different colors on the bouquet.
After they were stamped on the layer, I die cut the shape and raised it with dimentionals.
The dies are the Stitched so Sweetly that come in a bundle with the So Sentimental set on page 74.
The Thinking of You is from the Blossoms in Bloom set.

This is the same card with a little different arrangement of the flowers.
If you have a preference, let me know when you place your order.

The second card you receive will be a surprise.
I will also include some new product samples for you to try.

Thank you!

Remember to post a comment so I know that you are here and want to see those swap cards that I received from that first swap.
The sooner the comments come in, the sooner I will post the cards.
It would be best if these were posted before the next ones arrive and they all get mixed together!

Stay safe! I miss seeing you and stamping with you!

New Catalogs More Stamping adventures.

I joined a swap for the new catalog sets. These are the cards that I made. We were not able to get the new in colors in time to make the swaps so I tried a few different combinations. Which one do you like the best? Which one do you think that I made for the swap?
I may have this one available for the next Stamp Along.

The Library has chosen to suspend all group gatherings for the month of June.
I am hoping to be able to be back stamping with you in July at a Stamp Along.

Thank you to all that sent an order in May.
You are so appreciated!
The order isn't going to be here until Friday (I didn't send it until the 15th though) so I will probably be delivering your order on Monday the first of June, if you had one. The new catalog will be in there but, if you would like it sooner, please call or email and you can pick one up here. If you didn't have an order, you can still pick up a catalog if you need/want one.

The Little Ladybug set is going to Rita!
Here is my assistant, sitting square on the winning order form!
It was Ivy's but she already has that set so I took the next one that Salem chose.
Ivy got to chose the Hostess set Make a Splash!
He really is a good assistant! I no sooner had them spread out and he was there sitting on one. Then he moved one, sat on another, and left. I was able to pick them up and make the notes very quickly!

I will use the same process for the June order.
After you receive your catalog and see all the neat new things that you need to have....
You can use the hostess code:

XKRAV7NY

or email the order to me.
You will be in the drawing for one of the new hostess sets.
I can't picture them until the catalog starts on June 3 but you will see them in the catalog on page 187.
I will also include some samples of new product for you with your order,
and I will made this card for you.
Just get your order to me before June 8 to be in that drawing and to get the product samples.
Thank you!

My irises are starting to bloom now. Maybe that is why I have chosen to make this card for you.
They are one of my favorite flowers at this time of the year.
I have several different colors and sizes.
Here are the ones that are open now.

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe.
I miss stamping with you!

Free Little Ladybug set

Thank you for stopping in. I miss my stamping friends!
How are you doing with the stay safe at home?
I hope that you are busy stamping.

The retired list is out. You can see it on my website. Click on the crab to the right.
Since I can't do the Stamp Along, I haven't prepared cards for that but I did make this cute
Little Ladybug one that I would like to give to you.

Since I won't be at the Library to have you come and stamp with me, I thought I would stamp for you.
I will be making one of these Little Ladybug cards for each one of you that places an order with me before May 15th.
I will also be giving a Little Ladybug stamp set to one of you that places an order. I will put your order sheets on the floor and my assistant will choose the one that gets the Little Lady set!
Besides, that drawing, I will also be putting a surprise product in your order because I appreciate each and every one!
I will have the new catalogs by the time that order comes so I will put one of those in for you, also!
I have seen it on line and it looks great! I am anxious to hold one in my hands though. So much more fun to page through than to scroll through!

Here is my assistant, stepping out for a second to get a breath of fresh air.
He is quite the cat!

Here are the details to get into that drawing for the Little Ladybug set.

Call or email an order to me before May 15th
OR
Order on line and use the Hostess Code
SAJ46BY6

If your order is larger than $150 DO NOT use the code because there will be hostess goodies for you.
You will still qualify for the goodies.

I hope that you are all staying healthy and safe and that we can get back together at the Library very soon!

HAPPY EASTER!

I am wishing each and every one of you a very Blessed Easter!

Since Monday is the second Monday of April I would be excited to show you some of the cards that I would have available for you to make at the Stamp Along! However, that isn't happening this month. This will be the first time in over fifteen years that the Stamp Along won't take place.

I have not prepared cards because I am not sure if they should be summer cards or fall cards.
I guess that this staying at home time has confirmed that it is not time for me to stop doing the Stamp Along! I really miss you!
I do know that I have missed the preparation of the cards and the wonder of who and how many will like each design that I put out.

Elephants are known for their memories.
I'll never forget you and how much I enjoy seeing you at the Stamp Along.
I saw something very similar to this little guy on a blog or Pinterest and fell in love with it.
June Dunn is the one that designed the card the I saw.
You can make one of these.
It is easy to make using the Honey Bee stamps and the Detailed Bee Dies plus the Heart punch.

i stamped the beehive on a strip of Petal Pink (2 3/4" x 8 1/2") with Smoky Slate ink three times plus a partial image at the edge.
I cut one of them with the beehive die and the other two with the heart punch. The partial one was fussy cut into a curvy shape for the trunk.

This is my scrap from that process. You do not have to stamp the saying but I had it set up for another card and didn't want to mess up the spacing.
After those are cut and punched you line them up and glue in place to make the elephant.
I crumpled and straightened the trunk before I added it.
Add a piece of pink cord with a brad for the tail.
Next, I took a piece of Very Vanilla (5 1/4" x 8") and folded it in half.
I added a piece of DSP (4" x 1 1/2") from the Pleased as Punch pack to the bottom and stamped the saying from Honey Bee set. The inside says Thinking of You Sweet Friend from the same set.
The elephant was then attached with dimensionals.
A back piece of Flirty Flamingo (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") was added.
If you try to make it and have questions, please ask them as a comment and I will either answer them in the comments or message you directly.

If you would like me to post directions like this for other cards during this time of staying at home, I would be glad to do that but you have to let me know that is what you want.
Please let me know in a comment how I can help you with your creativity during the time that we can't meet at the Lester Library.

If you need some supplies please use the Hostess code if you order on line or you can email an order to me. If you order on line, it will probably get to you sooner. If you just need a few things and can wait awhile to get them, the postage would be less if you email it to me. On line shipping is $6.95 for any order under $70.

March Stamp Along and class

First of all, I have a better photo of the cards at the class!
The next class that I am doing at Schroeder's is 3D cards.
It will be held on Wednesday, March 25 at 1:30
The fee is $15 or free with a $25 order on the day of the class.
I will need time to cut the card stock for your cards so I need to know if you are coming.
Please sign up at, or before, the Stamp Along.
Thank you!
The cards will be at the Stamp Along for a better look at them.

I haave so many friends that are going through "stuff" that I have been trying to send more cards to cheer them up and forward. Is there someone that could use a cheerful card from you? It is always nice to know that someone is thinking of you. This card is perfect for those that you would like to know that you are thinking good thought for them.
The saying is perfect!

Those of you that like the quick and easy cards, you are in luck this time because these next ones sure fit that category!
This set is one of the choices that are free with a $50 purchase during SAB.
Don't miss out. March is the last month for that fantastic sale.
The card is Mint Macaron and is much more striking that the photo shows.

One stamp, one punch, a little glue and it is ready to send!

And the Ladybugs!
I think I will keep using this set for a long time. They are just so darn cute!

Please leave a comment to let me know which ones you like, what you think, or suggestions of what you would like to see.
Thanks!
Hope to see you at the Library on Monday.

If you wish to place an order, please use the hostess code.

Happy St. Patrick"s Day! Stamp Along cards and 3D Card Class

Do you send cards for St. Patrick's Day?
I am bringing this one back from last month for those of you that do and need one.
I will also have the dies that say Mother's Day and Father's Day along so you could do either of those also.

Just a very plain and simple one using the special Poppy Parade set this time.

This card had a very busy station last month so I am bringing it back for those that couldn't get to it and for those that weren't able to get here last time.
It uses the spotlight technique so you only color the part in the frame.

This card did not photograph very nicely! It is Balmy Blue and is beautiful!
You know that it I can say it is beautiful when it is blue, it really is.
It could be used for either an Anniversary or a Wedding.

These three Bee cards are also coming back. They are good examples of the things you can do with that wonderful Designer Series Paper (DSP) that you can get for free (with a $50 order) during the Sale a Bration.

I am still working on more choices for you and will share more tomorrow or the next day.
Follow by email so you don't miss them.

If you wish to place an order, please use the hostess code.
