HAPPY EASTER!

I am wishing each and every one of you a very Blessed Easter!

Since Monday is the second Monday of April I would be excited to show you some of the cards that I would have available for you to make at the Stamp Along! However, that isn't happening this month. This will be the first time in over fifteen years that the Stamp Along won't take place.

I have not prepared cards because I am not sure if they should be summer cards or fall cards.
I guess that this staying at home time has confirmed that it is not time for me to stop doing the Stamp Along! I really miss you!
I do know that I have missed the preparation of the cards and the wonder of who and how many will like each design that I put out.

Elephants are known for their memories.
I'll never forget you and how much I enjoy seeing you at the Stamp Along.
I saw something very similar to this little guy on a blog or Pinterest and fell in love with it.
June Dunn is the one that designed the card the I saw.
You can make one of these.
It is easy to make using the Honey Bee stamps and the Detailed Bee Dies plus the Heart punch.

i stamped the beehive on a strip of Petal Pink (2 3/4" x 8 1/2") with Smoky Slate ink three times plus a partial image at the edge.
I cut one of them with the beehive die and the other two with the heart punch. The partial one was fussy cut into a curvy shape for the trunk.

This is my scrap from that process. You do not have to stamp the saying but I had it set up for another card and didn't want to mess up the spacing.
After those are cut and punched you line them up and glue in place to make the elephant.
I crumpled and straightened the trunk before I added it.
Add a piece of pink cord with a brad for the tail.
Next, I took a piece of Very Vanilla (5 1/4" x 8") and folded it in half.
I added a piece of DSP (4" x 1 1/2") from the Pleased as Punch pack to the bottom and stamped the saying from Honey Bee set. The inside says Thinking of You Sweet Friend from the same set.
The elephant was then attached with dimensionals.
A back piece of Flirty Flamingo (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") was added.
If you try to make it and have questions, please ask them as a comment and I will either answer them in the comments or message you directly.

If you would like me to post directions like this for other cards during this time of staying at home, I would be glad to do that but you have to let me know that is what you want.
Please let me know in a comment how I can help you with your creativity during the time that we can't meet at the Lester Library.

If you need some supplies please use the Hostess code if you order on line or you can email an order to me. If you order on line, it will probably get to you sooner. If you just need a few things and can wait awhile to get them, the postage would be less if you email it to me. On line shipping is $6.95 for any order under $70.
