Free Little Ladybug set

Thank you for stopping in. I miss my stamping friends!
How are you doing with the stay safe at home?
I hope that you are busy stamping.

The retired list is out. You can see it on my website. Click on the crab to the right.
Since I can't do the Stamp Along, I haven't prepared cards for that but I did make this cute
Little Ladybug one that I would like to give to you.

Since I won't be at the Library to have you come and stamp with me, I thought I would stamp for you.
I will be making one of these Little Ladybug cards for each one of you that places an order with me before May 15th.
I will also be giving a Little Ladybug stamp set to one of you that places an order. I will put your order sheets on the floor and my assistant will choose the one that gets the Little Lady set!
Besides, that drawing, I will also be putting a surprise product in your order because I appreciate each and every one!
I will have the new catalogs by the time that order comes so I will put one of those in for you, also!
I have seen it on line and it looks great! I am anxious to hold one in my hands though. So much more fun to page through than to scroll through!

Here is my assistant, stepping out for a second to get a breath of fresh air.
He is quite the cat!

Here are the details to get into that drawing for the Little Ladybug set.

Call or email an order to me before May 15th
OR
Order on line and use the Hostess Code
SAJ46BY6

If your order is larger than $150 DO NOT use the code because there will be hostess goodies for you.
You will still qualify for the goodies.

I hope that you are all staying healthy and safe and that we can get back together at the Library very soon!

HAPPY EASTER!

I am wishing each and every one of you a very Blessed Easter!

Since Monday is the second Monday of April I would be excited to show you some of the cards that I would have available for you to make at the Stamp Along! However, that isn't happening this month. This will be the first time in over fifteen years that the Stamp Along won't take place.

I have not prepared cards because I am not sure if they should be summer cards or fall cards.
I guess that this staying at home time has confirmed that it is not time for me to stop doing the Stamp Along! I really miss you!
I do know that I have missed the preparation of the cards and the wonder of who and how many will like each design that I put out.

Elephants are known for their memories.
I'll never forget you and how much I enjoy seeing you at the Stamp Along.
I saw something very similar to this little guy on a blog or Pinterest and fell in love with it.
June Dunn is the one that designed the card the I saw.
You can make one of these.
It is easy to make using the Honey Bee stamps and the Detailed Bee Dies plus the Heart punch.

i stamped the beehive on a strip of Petal Pink (2 3/4" x 8 1/2") with Smoky Slate ink three times plus a partial image at the edge.
I cut one of them with the beehive die and the other two with the heart punch. The partial one was fussy cut into a curvy shape for the trunk.

This is my scrap from that process. You do not have to stamp the saying but I had it set up for another card and didn't want to mess up the spacing.
After those are cut and punched you line them up and glue in place to make the elephant.
I crumpled and straightened the trunk before I added it.
Add a piece of pink cord with a brad for the tail.
Next, I took a piece of Very Vanilla (5 1/4" x 8") and folded it in half.
I added a piece of DSP (4" x 1 1/2") from the Pleased as Punch pack to the bottom and stamped the saying from Honey Bee set. The inside says Thinking of You Sweet Friend from the same set.
The elephant was then attached with dimensionals.
A back piece of Flirty Flamingo (5 1/2" x 4 1/4") was added.
If you try to make it and have questions, please ask them as a comment and I will either answer them in the comments or message you directly.

If you would like me to post directions like this for other cards during this time of staying at home, I would be glad to do that but you have to let me know that is what you want.
Please let me know in a comment how I can help you with your creativity during the time that we can't meet at the Lester Library.

If you need some supplies please use the Hostess code if you order on line or you can email an order to me. If you order on line, it will probably get to you sooner. If you just need a few things and can wait awhile to get them, the postage would be less if you email it to me. On line shipping is $6.95 for any order under $70.
