Happy 6th Birthday Paper Pumpkin!

The Paper Pumpkin has improved so much over the six years that it has been around!
If you tried it back then and were disappointed, you should try it again.
This would be the time to do it!
There will be a free stamp set included for you.
They did give a hint about it saying:
  • The March kit features eight full-sized, mailable cards
  • Coordinating colors are Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, and Poppy Parade
  • This kit has an element that is sure to “pop”!
  • The FREE stamp set is even bigger and better than your typical Paper Pumpkin stamp set and can be used on a variety of crafting projects.

Another thing you should know is that you can purchase a three month subscription, receive a code, and qualify for a free SAB item.
Go to this link to sign up and give it a try!

SaleABration Choices

SAB is a wonderful time to get SU! product because you get extra with every $50 order.
This cupcake set is a fun one with which to work.
Although it isn't a Valentine card, it could be used for one if you are still in need.
Use the Call Me Clover ink and it can be used for St. Patrick's Day.
Either one could be a note card, get well or birthday.
It is one of the sets that is free with a $50 order.
If you think that you would like this set but would like some framelits to go with it.....
they are coming!
On March 1 there will be framelits dies to go with the Call Me Cupcake, Hop Around, Lily, and the Four Seasons sets. There will also be a Story Label Punch and a More Than Words stamp set.
I will have a flyer at the Stamp Along on Monday.

The Four Season set is one of the New releases for SAB.
It is part of a bundle so it requires a $100 order to receive it free.
This Lasting Lily set is also one of the larger offerings and requires a $100 order.
If you used this set last month and weren't happy with it, I have had that set replaced and the new one works much better! Sometimes there are defective stamps and SU! is very good about replacing them IF you have used them and realized that they need replacement within the first few weeks that you have them. I recommend that you try them out as soon as you can when they arrive.
I know that it is still a bit early but this lily does make a nice Easter card.
Do you send cards at Easter?
It is nice to know how many choices I will need to have for Easter.
Of course, you are always welcome to not use the greetings that I have available and add your own when you get home.

Another SAB choice that makes a real quick and easy card!

There are a few more choices that will be at the Stamp Along.
I am hoping that the weather is agreeable for you to come and Stamp with me on Monday.
We do live in Wisconsin and know that the cold is unavoidable but the icy, slippery stuff does need to be avoided.
If the Library is open, I will be there!
Hope to see you there.

It always shows up!

Many of you have heard me say this.
It always shows up!
Missing pieces when we are working on cards.
Scissors, tape, punches.
We misplace them but
It always shows up!
What is the strangest place that you have found a missing "something" when you were stamping?
Tell me in the comments and I will have a little something for the one that I can identify with the best.
I am so happy!
When I was looking for some twine for a card tonight look at what I found!

Do you see it there? On the edge of the twine?
The firefly that has been missing since the June Stamp Along!
I had a note on the set saying it was missing with that date.
When I took the twine out and noticed something on it, I got pretty excited when I realized that it was my missing firefly!
My Jar of Love set is complete again!

Another example of It Always Shows Up!
So glad to have it back.

On to some other samples of cards that will be at the Stamp Along on Monday.
If the Library is open, I will be there.
I pray that this nasty weather will be history by then. The ice is especially bad. I wouldn't want to have anyone slip and fall because they were out to stamp.

This frog is coming back from last time because there were some requests for that.
Even if you made it last time, you might need another one.
It is cute!
It can be used for several different occasions also.

The horse is also coming back.
I really like the way it looks like it is running right to you.

Something you always need is Birthday and Thank You cards.
This free (with $50 order) butterfly DSP is so pretty and makes a beautiful card so quickly and easily that you can have several on hand.
Birthdays always sneak up on me! It is nice to have a card on hand.

I really like several of the framlit shapes that are available now. This one is so pretty!
This is the card that needed the twine that led to the return of my firefly!
You can make the card either way. There will be both sizes of the Blackberry Bliss layer so you can choose either style, or place it on your card in your own way.

Butterflies in the Snow

It is snowing again as I write this.
I hope these butterflies cheer you up.
I also hope that the snow/cold doesn't keep you away from the Stamp Along next Monday!
The new butterfly punch makes this a easy card to make.
It was there last month in different colors. This time I paired it with the Nature's Poem DSP.
I think this gives it a more masculine look.
What do you think?

This one, using the same punch, has a lighter look.
The embossing folder also changes the overall look.

More butterflies with a whole different look!
This card could be done is any color
I am sure it would look even better if I had stamped the greeting a little straighter!
It could be used for almost any occasion, depending on the greeting you add.
I am sure that the embossing folder used would change the look of this card also.

I am also bringing the Thank you and Happy Birthday thinnest back with this pretty butterfly DSP that you can get for free with a $50 order during SAB.

I am working on another one using that DSP. Maybe that one will be ready for the next post.
In the meantime, let me know which ones you like the best.
What are your feelings about butterflies?

Happy Valentine's Day!

The Stamp Along will be just a few days before Valentine's Day.
There will be this one Valentine (there were a few last month) available in case you need a last minute one.
The Paper Pumpkin kit for January had cute little pillow boxes for the project that could be filled with treats and given to special people. They had a lot of extra parts though. I didn't realize that they were extras and just kept stamping!
This will be a very quick card for you to make. Just emboss that layer and assemble it!

I do enjoy my Paper Pumpkin each month! Most times they are just cards but once in awhile they have the little treat projects. This makes it easy for me to let the people in my book club and the Red Hat ladies know that they are special to me with the little treat I take for them. If you don't need to have little treats the materials are easy to transfer into parts for cards.
Right now you can get a free SAB item with the order of a three month prepaid subscription
for the Paper Pumpkin. See the inside back cover of the annual catalog for more info. If you have questions, just ask in the comments or email me.
There are some pretty neat kits in the catalog also!
This card is a part of the kit on page 20 in the Occasion catalog. The neat thing about these is that you receive EVERYTHING you need! That includes the stamps, ink, and even a block for the stamps.
Try it out!

This one is from another Paper Pumpkin kit. This one, and similar ones, will be available at the Stamp Along also.
There will be many other choices that I have designed. I will show you more in the coming week.
I have actually gotten an early start this month!

There are a few more items that are available for free (SAB) with the purchase of $50 worth of product. Check that out on my website, please.
