Stamp Along cards

This one would make a good birthday or thinking of you winter card with a change of the greeting. 

These will be back from last time. They both have the pop up inside. 

This one is also returning. 

The three of them use the cookie cutter punch. 

This cute little reindeer is making an appearance on two of the cards this time. 

This one allows it to move across the front. 

No greeting on this one. You could use it for a birthday or thinking of you if you are finished with your Christmas cards. 

Another good winter card.

There will be a few more but they haven't materialized from the supplies on my table yet. 

I may or may not post them. It depends on how quickly they emerge.

On Stage in Orlando

November has been another month of bumming for me!

It is time to show you some of the cards that you can expect to see at the Stamp Along and I have been away from my computer for so long that the photos aren't loaded yet! 

While I am waiting for those to transfer from the iPad, I will show you a few from the On Stage trip to Florida,

I traveled with my two friends/downline with whom I always attend the SU! events. 

We went a day early so we don't have to start off running as soon as we get there.

My cousin, whom I haven't seen since she was a little kid met us when we got to our hotel. 

Dawn, Sharie, Leslie (my cousin), Carolee

We went to a restaurant near our hotel and had a fantastic visit and a good lunch. 

She drives a truck. You can see it behind Dawn. It seats three. Dawn hopped in the bed of the truck and off we went! Leslie did check it out and it is legal in Florida. 

The weather was wonderful. 

The second day there was check in time. When I opened my box, I found a golden ticket!

Those of us that got one could redeem them at the info booth for a small prize. I got one of those cute expandable waste baskets. 

Those of you that were at the November Stamp Along saw all the neat things that we received. 

Later, that day the Silver Elite and above were treated to a day at Epcot. 

The weather was nice and warm but humid. 

At the end of the day we were treated to wonderful desserts.

These are some of the gals in our group.

It was a very large room so we couldn't round them all up to get them in the picture. 

The next two days we had meetings and stamping! 

We all received a free stamp set when our number and color appeared on the screen. 

We took the trolley back and forth from hotel to convention center. 

These cute cars were on our short walk from the trolley to our hotel. 

Then we returned to Wisconsin and this!

That was taken the morning of the November Stamp Along!

The stamp on the inside is from the big catalog and the balloons are made from retired DSP. 

I will have several designs for your custom made balloons.

Thinking of you and Christmas cards

The special effect that you get by raising the cuts on this card to different levels really makes it special.

You can always use a Thinking of You card, right? 

The Cookie Cutter set with the gingerbread image also has these cute Eskimo kids.

Paired up with the Cable Knit folder just makes for a nice warm feeling. 

This one uses many scrap pieces from my stash. 

I was really pleased that I found so many little packets of card stock that went so well together. 

There is some stamping on the card front for a background effect that doesn't show up on here. 

There are some snowflakes in the background with VersaMark so it looks like tone on tone.

Quick and Easy cards

These are the quick and easy cards this time. 

This one is put through the Big Shot in the wreath folder and has a ribbon added. 

You won't find the die for the Joy in the catalog but you will find one for YOU. 

When you cut it out you must cut it on the back side so you can cut part of the U off to make it a J. 

Some people are so cleaver! Not I. I saw it on line some place and thought you would enjoy it. 

This one doesn't look so easy but it is. 

Die cut the leaf, put the rest through the BS in the Woodland folder, sponge, and put it back together. 

You do need to cut the detailed leaf from the layer piece and be careful to get it in a corner so it doesn't show through when you put it back together. 

This one is super easy! 

Stamp the image, attach it to the layer, and attach that to the card base. 

You could add color to the pheasants but they don't need it. 

Another super easy one. 

This one is set up on the Stamparatus. 

All you have to do is place the card stock on the grid, ink it up, and close the Stamparatus. 

It is done with pigment ink, so you need to be careful not to smear the ink. Let it dry for awhile or use the heat tool to dry it.

Special folds

I have a few "different" folds for you this time.  

This one starts with a half sheet of 81/2" by 11" cut diagonally. 

I am so glad that you (some of the gals at the SA) talked me into getting this set. 

I wasn't going to but so glad that I did. 

I used the set Peaceful Place for the inside of the card. 

When you open this gingerbread card, it looks like the pan of cookies are coming out of the oven. 

You will just have to come to the Stamp Along on Monday, November 12th to see it. 

This one is a folded piece of DSP that opens like an explosion card. 

Once you learn the fold, you can make several of them very quickly. 

Again, you need to come and see how it unfolds.

Where does the time go? 

I am feeling better but the cold still isn't totally gone. 

I am almost ready to go. 

 Here are a few of the cards that are packed for the Stamp Along. 

Do you get together with family for Thanksgiving?

Do you make wonderful homemade pies? 

This card would be super for the baker! 

The Basket Weave folder does a good job of making Crumb Cake card stock look like pie crust. 

You can customize the crust by the amount of sponging that you add. 

This is a nice late fall card. 

The trees sure shed their leaves in a hurry this past week!

Do you need a wedding or Anniversary card? 

Both of these have the same elements added to them but the placement is a little different. 

It does make a difference. 

Which one do you like better? 

It is difficult to see on the photo but there is a bit of Wink of Stella on the branches. 

Since I won't be blogging any more after tonight, I am going to schedule a few posts so I can show you a few more of the cards even though I will be gone. 

I don't want you to miss me too much.

Just a note to wish you a Happy Halloween! 

I am busy working on the cards for the November Stamp Along. 

I have to have them all ready before I leave for On Stage in Florida! 

I hope to get lots of new ideas for you while I am there checking out the new products in the Occasions Catalog. We will also be seeing the SAB sets that will be available in January! 

I will return home on Sunday and head for the Stamp Along on Monday. 

If I am a little more "out of it" than usual, you will know why. 

I plan to bring the swap cards that I get while there if I remember to pack them near the top. 

I have been "under the weather" for the last two weeks with the worst cold that I have had in years. 

I am feeling pretty good tonight, thus the post. 

When I don't feel well, I don't think of computer posts. Those are not near the top of my list. 

I would much rather be creating the cards for you to make at the Stamp Along. 

I did need to come to the computer to start the order for the SA, so, while I was here, I thought I would send this on and wish you a Happy Halloween.

More Stamp Along cards

Sorry I'm late with these! 

Oops. Time slipped away. 

This is a little more labor intense but someone asked me to do one like the one shown on page 26 in the Holiday catalog. I think I came close.

What do you think? 

I have used the DPS that was a free gift last month for the Party order. 

This is an example of using DSP so both sides can be appreciated. 

Even though you can't purchase it, I would rather share it with you than have it sit here, unused. 

Another Halloween or just for cat lovers card. 

I didn't put a greeting on it so you can use it for any occasion! 

This one is a return one also. 

It uses part of the die used on the cat card. This die has very many possibilities.

Fall and Christmas cards

This is a shaker card. 

Yours will look better because I have the Stamparatus for you to use to get your tree stamped in the right spot. You see how far off mine is stamped. That is what happens when I don't take the time to do it right the first time! 

It is a really cool card that uses the edge dimensionals so you don't have to piece the frame. 

Come and try it out. 

This one uses the trees that have been "growing" in my stamp room since I used the frames from them for another project. I have been saving them for just the right project. This is it! 

The flocked vellum has also been waiting for this one. 

The "Noel" card is returning from last time. It is done with the bleach technique. 

This technique requires a test sample as every kind/color of card stock reacts differently with the bleach. The Blueberry Bushel produced a very pretty green after the bleach was applied. 

Quick and easy! This is it.

Emboss, sponge, and add a bow.

Hello Fall

Happy October!

Where did September go? 

Did yours disappear as quickly as mine did? 

This is a very quick and easy card that can be used as a Thank you or a birthday.

The same beautiful script says Have a Beautiful Birthday. 

I will have both at the Stamp Along so you can choose. 

This cute Halloween card will be back again so you have a chance to make another one or two of them or, if you didn't make one last month, you can make one this time.
It is a z fold card so the second view shows the inside. 

     

Even though Thanksgiving isn't a big card sending holiday, i do have a few selections that would work for that day or anytime that you want to let someone know that you are thankful for them and all they do.



This is one that is made with a set that I wasn't going to get but someone talked me into it.
Yes, it was because of one of the swaps that I had at the last Stamp Along!
I have to admit that I am glad that I did get it. I am very pleased with the way this one turned out!
I have already tied the tiny bows for you if you choose to make this one.

Christmas in September?

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

There will be two more choices for you to do at the Stamp Along on Monday.

This is one of the new sets from the Holiday Catalog.

Do you have the new catalog? If you don't and want one, be sure to pick one up at the SA. 

This one uses heat embossing. It always seems to make the card a little more special. 

This one is also a Holiday Catalog set. 

It coordinates with the Stained Glass framlits that also go with the Painted Glass set. 

The little angel uses the same framlit as the butterfly from the other set. 

This one is a little labor intense but there is an easier version if you chose to do that. 

How do you store your reinkers? 

I used to keep them in small boxes, one for each color family. 

When so many of the color families changed and there were so many new colors to add I felt that it would be a good time to change the storage. 

I still have them by families but already have questioned my reasoning. I think that alphabetical would make it faster to find the one I need. 

I found a box that would hold all of them and made dividers from the cardboard backings in the DSP packages. Then I measured the spaces needed for each bottle and wrote the names in the spaces. 

I also wrote the name on the covers. Not an easy task!

As you can see, I still need a few more. 

The price is right and it serves my purpose. 

I know that I will be happy that I took the time to do this project.

I am going to sell many of my ink pads and reindeers. 

The sponge ones - the new ones before the present new ones - are $4.

 The cloth ones are $2.

The old ones with the flip covers (smaller size similar to the size of Stazon) are $1.

I will pull them and bring them to the Stamp Along for you if you request them. 

I will be taking them to the sale in Green Bay on the 15th. 

You can also request, and I will bring stamp sets for you. They are 75% of the price they were in the catalog. I am not going to haul all of them but I will search if you send me the name of it.

I may bring the reinkers along, if I hear from some of you saying that you want them, as I am not going to search through them for specific colors.

These rainy days are too dreary!

Yes, they are good for stamping but not for my energy level!

This little bear is so cute for a note. There are a few more puzzle pieces on the inside. 

The Wild About You set makes a cute baby card. 

I seldom have baby cards, unless someone puts in a request for one, but the inspiration for this one "grabbed me" when I saw it on Pinterest. 

There are a few more of the wonderful Dandelion Wishes Cards Available for you to do. 

This Daisy card went to the Stamp Along last month but didn't get out on the tables. 

I had too many projects there and the room to display them ran out. 

It would be good for a Thank You card.

I may have too many packed again for this time.
