Stamping Retreat and Seasonal Wreath

Last weekend I went with several friends to a beautiful house in Belgium to stamp and scrap.
No, this time it was in Wisconsin, not Europe!
I took my Paper Pumpkin kits along as I was way behind in doing them.
I was determined to get them completed!
I was focused!
I did get eight of them finished. That is pretty good!
I did take a break and do the kit from the new catalog to make this beautiful wreath.
It comes with the three ribbons so you can change it for Halloween, Autumn, and Christmas!
This one is the Halloween one and has bats, and "Boo" signs. There is also a little flag that says Happy Haunting!
The shapes are included but there is a stamp set that goes with it to stamp the images on the shapes.
If you don't want to have the stamps for your very own you can use mine for the class.

After Halloween you only have to change the ribbon and the little banner and you are ready for November. These are leaves and acorns on this banner with a flag that says Hello Autumn.
The banners and ribbons are attached with T pins so they are very easy to change.

This is the Christmas one. The trees with sequin ornaments and the Christmas Cheer flag.
It would be so easy to add another banner for Valentine Day. How easy would it be to make a few hearts and a flag that says Love!? That red bow wouldn't even have to be changed!
Maybe some eggs for Easter?

I will be doing the class at Schroeder's at 1:00 for $35.
I will set the date with the help of the first ones that are interested in taking the class.
Let me know the dates that would be good for you.
End of September would be a good time.
I will have the wreath at the Stamp Along on the 14th so you can see it "in person."
The kits will need to be ordered at that time.

This is Kaan's Kozy Kraft House in Belgium, Wisconsin.

The bedrooms have four beds in each with a bathroom across the hall.
Very comfy beds!

This is the kitchen.
Many things were provided but we, in groups, provided the meals.
Everything was prefect!
There are also restaurants within walking distance. We went out for fish on Friday night.

Nice big bathroom with a wonderful tub and shower.

There are our workstations. There were eight of us in the one room which was so nice as we could all visit with everyone while we were working. Each station had an Ott-lite and a magnetic mat with the magnets.

Here are the gals that scrapped together.
So sorry that the two that couldn't make it missed a great time.

If you would ever like to do a weekend retreat with us let us know so we can let you know when one is coming.
