Thoughts And Prayers

I already have a sympathy card ready for the Stamp Along but since I have been using so many of these lately, I thought I would add another choice. 

The Thoughts and Prayers set is a favorite of mine for sympathy and thinking of you cards. 

These three are basically the same. They all start with the delicate details lace tape (p171) placed on the card and sponged. You can achieve different looks by the amount of sponging you do.

After you sponge, just wipe across with a tissue to remove the extra ink on the tape, and remove the tape to be used for another card. Next, I stamped the flower branch and the sentiment with Calypso Coral ink on the Crisp Cantaloupe card stock. I added some washi tape on two of them...one to hide the stems on the flower branch and the other just because.

You could do this same card in almost any of the lighter colors.

These are the three free cards that were waiting for the people that purchased this set during September at the October Stamp Along on Monday. 

The punch art one was a swap from convention without a name on the back so I can't give credit.

The punches used on it are the Large Oval, Modern Label, 1/2" Circle, and circle from the Itty bitty Punch Pack, as well as the Beautiful Wings Embosslits for the Big Shot. 

I think they were pleased with them.

That one is part of a bundle but only the stamp set is required for the free cards. 

If you purchase the set on line and can't make it to the Stamp Along, I will mail the cards to you.

A few more examples of the use of Wetlands set that was set of the month for August...

Those that ordered this set during August will have the supplies to make three cards (not necessarily the ones pictured here) using this set at the Stamp Along on September 9th at the Lester Library. If you can't make it to the Library, please let me know and I will make two of the cards and send them to you.
