Watercolor Wings

Do you like butterflies?
I do. That makes it easy to do cards for almost any occasion.

The new Watercolor Wings stamp set makes beautiful butterflies in your choice of colors!
This one will be at the Stamp Along next week.
The ribbon is discontinued but, since I have it, I am going to use it.
I really need to use more of the things that I have here so I can make room for new things.
Do you mind if I use discontinued items at the Stamp Along?
The other sets used on this one are Butterfly Basics and Birthday Blossoms.

This is one that we did this afternoon at Village Green.
What a difference the colors make. We also did envelopes to match today.
This one also uses Gorgeous Grunge and Sassy Salutations sets.

There are a lot more stamps in the set and I hope to have another one using that set at the Stamp Along. There are so many neat new sets that I don't know which one to use first.
Hope you can come to the Stamp Along next Monday and make some of the cards.

Moon Lake, Kinda Eclectic, and more Butterflies for the Stamp Along

What a big difference that the color chosen can make!
This is basically the same card.
The one on the left has the butterfly sponged a bit and the one on the right was left white besides the obvious difference in the layer of color.
They both use the DSP that is free with a $50 order during SAB.
The one on the left also has a little surprise on the inside.

This next one uses the Kinda Eclectic set and the butterfly punches.
It would certainly work for a Valentine card with those little hearts on the DSP layer.

Both the above and below could be used for Thinking of You cards.
I needed some of these to send out so I designed the following one from the Moon Lake set and made eight of them for myself to send out.

Thank you all for the comments! I do appreciate them!
Which of the above is your favorite?
Be sure to let me know if you wish to take the class for the Moon Lake set that will be at Schroeder's on Wednesday the 25th at 12:30. Four of the five cards were posted on Feb 4.
Already have the set? If you purchased it from me the class is $8. If you don't want the set (you can share mine) or purchased it from someone else the class if $15.

Love that Butterfly!

Two of these are the cards that we did at a party tonight.
Everyone seemed to enjoy making them.
All three of them will be at the Stamp Along on Monday since I cut extras for that very reason.
The Lotus blossom set used on the card on the right is one that you can receive free with a $50 order during SaleABration.

Which of these is your favorite?

One sheet wonder with Butterfly Basics

These are six of the seven cards that you can make in the One sheet wonder class.
I have been wanting to do this technique in a class for some time.
This set is perfect for it!

This class will include the Stamp Set (Wood $47.95, Clear $35.95, or Photopolymer $23.95) and the Thinlits dies ($24.95) so you can continue to make cards and decorations with you own set. It will also include a free SAB item if you choose the wood or clear mount or add to your order of the Photopolymer set. You will make all seven of the cards (one is not shown) and learn the one sheet wonder technique.
There is a list of things to bring along (if you have them) so we don't have to wait for things to be passed from one to another. If you don't have it, you can share.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Basics Bundle is Awesome!

This bundle from the new Occasions Catalog is Fantastic!
There is so much that can be done with it!
I have used it for two of my swaps
These are both in need of a little more instruction than there is at the Stamp Along.
I would be very glad to do them for a workshop though.
Let's set up a date during SAB so you get more goodies!
This one uses a variation of the one sheet wonder technique.
It uses all of the stamps in the set! How often does that happen?
There is usually, at least, one stamp in a set that I never use.
Does that happen for you?

The colors I used on this are: Daffodile Delight, Crumb Cake, Wild Wasabi. Cherry Cobler, Calypso Coral, and Early Espresso. The card base is Crumb Cake. and layers of Calypso Coral and Crumb Cake. I also used a little piece of that pretty two tone trim that was carried over from the Holiday catalog. The banner framelits die and the butterfly die make the cutting a breeze.

This one is done with the white ink on the Blackberry Bliss card stock. The top layer is embossed with the Tiny Triangles folder which is then raised with dimensionals to give that butterfly a great look of depth. The little guy is stamped of the free Specialty paper that can be had with a $50 order during SAB. It is really neat! It is the same design (there are 2 sheets each of 6 different designs) as the one used in the last post.

The card base on this one is Wisteria Wonder and the layer is Soft Sky.
I know, it looks white on here!
I have many more cards done with this bundle!
I have a class almost ready to show you! If you are liking these cards, consider buying the bundle and you will get to make four or more cards for only about $5!
Watch for more info!
