Border size makes a difference!

These four cards are the same except for the size of the borders.
They sure have a different look though, don't they?
Which one do you like the best?

They all use the Sweet Taffy DSP along with a Daffodile Delight card base and Tangelo Twist layer except the one on the lower left that doesn't have the Tangelo Twist layer.
The Flower Shop set and Pansy punch along with Petite Petals set and the Petite Petal punch were used for the flowers. The Artisan Label punch was used for the saying.
Please leave a comment telling me which one you think will show up at the Stamp Along.
I have another little journal to give away to the winner of the drawing this month.

If you need some stamping supplies and can't make it to the Stamp Along please use the hostess code
K67J2FVQ
This links your order to the Stamp Along order to increase the total. That helps me get more goodies. If you don't link it the "goodie" potential is lost.  :-(
Thanks!

Winners

The winners of the drawing for visiting my blog and leaving a comment since the beginning of January were
Heidi M
and
Jazy1m for leaving more than one comment.
Please email me with your snail address so I can send your gift.
If I don't hear from these two by Friday I will pick a new name.
Thank you to all that left comments. It is so nice to hear from you and makes me want to put more cards and ideas on the blog. I need the encouragement. I would also be open to suggestions.

This is another of the Sympathy cards that was at the Stamp Along today.
The picture makes it look like the bird was stamped and punched and added to the front of the card.
In reality, the card front was punched with the Artisan Label punch and the bird was stamped inside the card to show through.
Thanks for stopping by.

Stamp Along choices

The card in the front is the one that I mentioned yesterday as a variation of the three that we did at the workshop. Do you see the similarity?
Also, here are the New Year cards. The one on the left has some champaign glimmer  paper that can't be caught with a camera. It is one that has to be seen in person to be appreciated. The Best of Christmas set is one of my favorites. The crib scene is one from that set. The Santa in the following photo is another. The Merry Christmas ornament pictured in yesterday's post is a third and the fourth is a very stylish reindeer. I will try to use that one for the Stamp Along also.
Have you gotten any of the Best of..... sets? Which one is your favorite?
Leave a comment on this post and I will put your name in a drawing for some blog candy.
I will pick the name on Monday after the Stamp Along.
Good luck!

Just because it is Christmas time, doesn't mean that we don't need birthday and sympathy cards.
I wish we never needed that sympathy ones but it seems like those are the ones I need the most.
This one uses the beautiful image from the hostess set, Simply Sketched.
The birthday cards use the Label Love set with the Artisan Label punch. That is one of the many bundles that Stampin' Up! offers. Don't you love that they give a discount when you bundle?
The other image used here is from Sketched Birthday set.

There will be more selections available at the Stamp Along but they aren't out of the ink pads yet.
Which of these do you like the best? Which ones will you be making?
Leave a comment and let me know.

Washi Tape

Have you tried the Washi Tape?
It is really fun to use and is functional as well.

This is one of the two cards using the Washi tape.
It is similar to the card that I had at the last Stamp Along. This stamp, Wildflower Meadow, and matching folder are fun to use. They come together in a bundle so you can save 15% by getting them together. That makes it even more fun!
They make it easy to make an elegant looking card.

How do you like the new Artisan Label Punch?
It adds a nice frame for your greeting.
There are several greetings in the coordinating stamp set, Label Love.
