Retiring colors

There are thirteen of the colors retiring this year!
Stampin' Up! has done a color revamp this year which means that they have redone the color families.
Some of the colors have not been well used lately so they have accessed it and changed them up a bit.
Some of the colors have hopped from one collection to another.
Flirty Flamingo was retired as an in color BUT it is returning as a member of the Brights collection.

The colors that are retiring are:
Always Artichoke
Elegant Eggplant
Island Indigo
Perfect Plum
Rose Red
Chocolate Chip
Tangerine Tango
Tempting Turquoise
Marina Mist
Pink Pirouette
Soft Sky
Wild Wasabi
Wisteria Wonder
Dapper Denim
Emerald Envy
Peekaboo Peach
Sweet Sugarplum

If you need any of these retiring colors, order them now because when they are gone, they are gone!
I am always sorry to see some of the colors go but there will be other fun ones to take their place.
The new in colors always take a while for me to get comfortable using but they are very pretty again!
Go to my website (click on the little crab) and check out the Last Chance Products.
The retired list is quite long.
All of the bundled items will be listed but some of the individual stamp sets and dies will still be available but not as a bundle.
While you are there, check out the clearance rack also!

If you are placing an order on line that is less than a party ($150) please use the hostess code.

Off to On Stage!

Leaving for On Stage tomorrow!
My swaps are packed...the few that I have finished.
Hoping to get some new ideas to share with you on Monday!

Here are a few more of the cards for the Stamp Along.
This is one that I am doing for a class. Would you please look at the clock, if you make this one, and let me know how long it took you to complete it.
Thanks in advance.
I will thank you with a small gift if you do this for me on Monday.

Another one that would be great to cheer a friend.
These DSP ovals are from another project but I really like the effect of stamping on the DSP.

This one could be used for an Anniversary or a Wedding.

Have a great weekend and I hope to see you on Monday!
Leave a comment on here and get a prize on Monday.
Just tell my your favorite card or which ones you are planning to make or just say, "Hi" to let me know you are there!
If you post as anonymous, you need to put your name in the comment so I know who you are, in order to claim your prize. Thanks.

Techniques at Stamp Along

Do you like to try new things?
So you like the cards with techniques or do you like the plain and simple ones?
Yesterday, I showed you some of the quick and easy ones.
This one is both quick and easy and uses the collage technique without doing a total collage.
You will use different stamps with different ink colors but won't be covering the entire surface.

This one is easy enough also in that you stamp the entire layer and then cut the oval on the Big Shot.
You then raise that oval and give it just a tiny shadow on one side.

Need a card of congratulations?
I will also have Confirmation and Baptism for you to use.
Don't forget to let me know if you have an event for which you need a card in the upcoming months.
I would be glad to design one for your event.

I am getting excited about the On Stage event in Milwaukee next weekend!
I hope to get lots of new ideas to share with you at the Stamp Along on Monday.
Hope to see you there!

Good bye to In Colors 2016 - 2018

Dapper Denim
Emerald Envy
Flirty Flamingo
Peekaboo Peach
Sweet Sugarplum

If you have loved these colors and are running low or don't have the refills for the ink pads,
don't wait to get them. The retiring list will be coming soon and then those colors will be gone!

I am using them as much as possible so I don't have them left in my stash.
The yellow ovals are already cut for you. I found those that must have been from another project.

These pieces, again from another project were on my table and made some really bright stunning cards!  Which combination do you like the best? The pieces will be there. You can combine them as you choose. Please show me your creation if it is different from the samples.

I will miss these colors but new ones will be coming!
This card has a pop up inside that may need a demo but the group that I did it with enjoyed it so much that I thought I would take a chance and try it at the Stamp Along.

On Friday, I will be going to the SU! event in Milwaukee. It is called On Stage and will be the preview of the new annual catalog. Yes, we will get to see the new in colors that will be with us for the next two years, as well as all the new products!
I have been working on some swaps to take along so I will have the swaps I get in return to show you at the Stamp Along.

Here are the ones that I have finished.
The one with the flowers may come to the Stamp Along.
The congratulation one will be at the Stamp Along for you to make with the help of the Stamparatus.
Have you tried the Stamparatus yet? How do you like it? I think it is fabulous! I have been using it to make these swaps and it sure makes them go faster than it would without it!

Hope to see you at the Library on the 9th of April.
