Now on to some more of the cards that I will have for you on Monday. 

Now that I have both of the daisy punches, I have been having fun playing with them. 

This one was here last month but is coming back to join the two new ones using the same stamps and punches. 
Daisies are always so cheerful! 

This one uses the medium punch.

This one was inspired by one of my swap cards from my last swap.

The one on the right is the most like the card I received. 

It requires more time and effort than the one on the left.
They both use both of the daisy punches.
You can choose to do either or both of them. 

This card is very "soft" looking. I think it would also make a nice sympathy card. It is quick and easy to make. A bit of a collage with the beautiful dotted ribbon to finish it. 

Yes, there will be another Christmas card. This is the one that I have ready to bring on Monday. 

Maybe I will be inspired to do another one this weekend.

This is a sponged background with that beautiful die cut tree.

Anyone in your circle like horses? 

Another horse one but this one is a pull up birthday card.

Easy to make but still a little fancier than a regular card. 

The new frames that you cut and emboss are wonderful! 

This one could be for a note card, especially if you have a friend that is going through a rough time. 

You will be able to use the Stamparatus to get those corner designs perfectly placed. 

Have you been seeing a lot of butterflies lately?

They have been visiting my flowers. They are always a joy to watch. 

This card captures some that you can send and share with your friends.

Using the Stash

Do you have a stash of things that just keep collecting? 

I am trying to use some of those things. 

Example: When I cut down the white layers to 5" X 3 3/4" I end up with stacks of %" X 1" pieces. 

I tried embossing those strips of card stock and came up with this card. 

What do you think? 

I also used some strips of DSP that were left from another project.

You will have a few choices of colors for the layer. 

This is the card that I did for the latest swap. 

It is labor intense but I did cut a few for the Stamp Along. 

If you will be there and want me to save one for you, just ask. 

This one uses the Daisy Lane stamp set. 

I am asking for your help to meet a challenge from SU! 

If you are thinking of purchasing this set in the future, please consider bumping it to the top of your wish list.  The challenge is for me to sell several sets before the 22 of July. 

If you purchase one on or before Monday I will give you a retired set that I have of the same value for free. Or, if you would rather, I will make you three cards using that set.

This one uses the large daisy punch but you can bundle the set with the new smaller daisy punch.

Have you noticed the note cards in the catalog? 

They come with envelopes and have a neat scalloped edge. 

Again, I used some of the narrow strips of DSP that are too good to toss. 

These come in four colors and are found on page 168.

Another use for those 1" strips: 

Quick and easy and very nice. 

Who wouldn't love to get one of these in the mail?

Thank you to all who have served our country! 

After making this card for a special project, I decided to use the same technique for a Christmas card!

This is one that you can make at the July Stamp Along next Monday. 

There are several ways to do the retriform technique on cards. 

This one is probably the easiest. 

Just stamp that central image and use a piece of scrap paper to sponge all the way around it. 

Add a few images in the sections that you create and you are finished. 

As in the past, I have this one Christmas card in July to get us started. Next month Iwill try to have two and build from there until December. 

Do you golf? Do you have friends that golf? 

This card makes use of the hot air balloon to make a golf ball. 

I am not that imaginative to come up with these ideas on my own. I do follow many blogs and check with Pinterest to get all these cute ideas to share with you. 

Remember the scissors that makes grass? Yup, I pulled that out for you to use on this card. I also pulled out a retired folder for the dimples on the ball. 

Do you have DSP that you would like to use up? This pocket card is just the thing for that. 

It uses a half sheet of DSP and makes use of both sides. 

Connie Stewart has the full directions on her blog. 

I have used it with the retired DSP from SAB a few years ago. 

There will be several choices of DSP from which you can choose yours. 

The card slides in from the top. 

Another card using that hot air balloon is the pop up one that I used for the kid's program at the Library. There were lots of left overs so I thought I would share them with you. 

It would make a good celebration card for any occasion!

June Stamp Along Cards --- New Catalog

Father's Day Cards

Do you need a Father's Day card? 

There are several cards that would work for Fathers at the Stamp Along this time. 

This one could be for that or retirement to graduation or almost any occasion. 

There are two that use the same set with a masculine theme. 

Again, they could be used for several occasions. 

This cute little dog could also fit the bill!

There will also be necessary cards. 

I have needed way too many of these lately!

Birthday cards are always in demand.

This one uses the stamps that were in a kit. 

Butterflies are alway good! I have seen a few in the flowers when I have been out in the last few days. 

It still isn't very warm but the flowers are coming along nicely!

This one is back from last time. 

It is a shaker card that can go through the mail easily. 

It is made with tulle instead of the window sheets and doesn't require the raised space. 

Here are a few pictures of my backyard flowers for you to enjoy.

Daffodiles by the pond. 

Trilliums in the "wild" corner. 

Two lilies. The one on the right was so tall last year that I was sure it was going to break when all the flowers were open. The other one got broken when I was working in their corner. 

These are tiny little pink wild flowers. They are so delicate and pretty.

A little Hyacinth in the irises.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU!

May Flowers

It is difficult to design cards with a spring theme when the weather yells, "Winter!"

This card can be used for several different occasions, depending on the saying you stamp among the flowers. I have these choices for you. 

This one combines the embosses and the punched flowers for a nice note card. When it says Thinking of You, it can be for any occasion or reason and it can bring so much cheer to the one that receives it. 

Using that same embossing folder on a colored card stock totally changes the effect. 

This color combo is very striking! The velum makes it elegant. 

Again, you have a choice of sayings for the card. 

I wanted to use these wonderful word dies but they didn't look right on the above card so I tried them on a flat piece of card stock and then put them through the Big Shot in the embossing folder. That gives it a different look but also quite elegant. Notice that both of them use the flower vine die. 

This one is using some of the card stock that I had cut but not to regular size so you will have a choice of color for your layer. 

There will also be Father's Day choices available. I will try to get those posted tomorrow.
